Yosemite Bade Me Welcome
Yosemite Bade Me Welcome
Dear Friends
I greet you from Yosemite
Yosemite bade me welcome this hospitable afternoon. My heart opened to the abounding beauty before me.
The entrance of the Wawona Tunnel led us to an awesome view of Yosemite’s classic mountain landscape at the exit of the famous tunnel.
We could not take our eyes away from the view before us. Our hearts drew nearer to Beauty. We were guests in this beautiful place; and yet, felt very much at home.
Our eyes were happy. Our hearts were happy. We must sit down for a while.
Some how I knew my dreams woulds be happy tonight.
Welcome to the Beauty. Welcome to Yosemite. Welcome to Nature’s Grand Cathedral.
Nature has provided Yosemite with waterfalls, sequoia trees, cliffs, flowers, and wildlife. The beautiful landscape was carved by glaciers.
The Park has many scenic vistas. Tunnel View, shown in the above photograph, is a favorite vista of park visitors.
Other views to visit include Glacier Point, Olmsted Point, and Sentinel Bridge.
Glacier Point is perched 3,000 feet above Yosemite Valley and offers tremendous views!
Olmsted Point is found along the Tioga Road on your way to Tuolumne Meadows. It offers an unusual view of the backside of Half dome.
Sentinel Bridge offers a clear view of Half Dome, maybe its most famous view!
Yosemite bade me welcome this hospitable afternoon. Yosemite welcomes you.
