The purest gold of a Yosemite autumn was enjoyed by a few dedicated photographers.
They opened their eyes to the wonders that are found in Yosemite in the autumn time.

When the morning light fills the autumn sky, photographers are ready to go to work.

They are happy that the light shines so beautifully on the land of Yosemite. They saw and at once they were astounded; they moved into place at the edge of the Merced River.

To enjoy the light of another day is a gift. Beauty and gold surround us. Wonders astound us.

There is cause for rejoicing here at the water’s edge. Consider the feelings of a man who looks down into the depths of the valley from the top a mountain.

The gold of the autumn leaves were brilliantly reflected in the Merced River. Even our hearts were flecked with gold…our hearts were enriched.
