This retreat was recently renovated, including a fully redone living room, kitchen, and modern bathrooms.

This cabin is easily accessed, with only one step up from your car to cross a bridge to enter the house. You'll enter right into a kitchen with all new essential appliances, followed by a dining area and a high living area with a small loft for the kids to play in. The living room features a 4K TV/DVD player, a stereo/CD player, a sectional, and chairs for cozy entertainment. The game room is in the basement and has a pool table. Enjoy your favorite meal in a well-equipped, modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances.

French doors open up to a spacious deck with views of the wooded scenery. There's a full bathroom at this level with a freestanding bathtub to relax after a fun day in Yosemite. The lower level features a deck. The large family bedroom has a 4K TV with a DVD player and a door that opens to a wraparound deck with views into the woods.

Overall, the stay was nice. It’s suppose to accommodate up to 8 people (we only had 4), but we ran out of hot water pretty quickly and had to experience cold shower. We should be informed of the hot water situation, especially with the huge tub that is provided.

Everything was in excellent condition and as expected per the description. Really great location to enjoy the park, yet away from the bustle of Yosemite Valley. The property was well-provisioned for a comfortable stay, and instructions were clear making the checkout process easy.

We stayed her with our son, his wife and our two grandsons. It worked ideally for the 6 of us. The kitchen was well-appointed with all the gadgets and appliances one could need. Of course, we were there during the time that occupants had to use bottled or boiled water which was an inconvenience but not the owners fault.

The cabin was clean and beautiful, just as described. Our family had a lovely time here and made the short drive over to Yosemite valley several times. Would definitely stay here again. The fireplace was our favorite as it really heat the place up so quickly and added so much charm!

The house was very clean and welcoming! Close proximity to all of the camp grounds/sites. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, etc.. only thing that I would recommend would be a washer and dryer.

We originally wanted to stay in Yosemite Valley, but no reservation was available for our dates. We chose Yosemite West as an available alternate. Though I have been coming to Yosemite all my life, I had no idea what to expect since this was the first time I ever made the turn into the Yosemite West access road. What a pleasant surprise!! The cabin was beautiful, spacious, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped. We had a fabulous time, and ended up being glad we were unable to stay in the Valley. We'll be back!

Overall we were very happy about our stay. The cabin was very spacious and most of the things were great. The availability of the BBQ outside makes it a wonderful evening hangout with friends. The loft above the kitchen became the perfect "hide-out" for the kids and they loved it. Rooms being downstairs make it cooler in the evening which is good during summer time. The kitchen was impressive in terms of cookwares and silverware. Some of the pans could be upgraded though, the teflon are falling off. One of the 4 stove tops wasn't working, didn't bother us too much and we informed the management, hopefully it's fixed soon. The living room TV is a little small for today's standard, maybe that can be upgrade in due time too. But overall, we enjoyed it a lot!
