The Star-tulip belongs to the Lily Family and is found in Yosemite West! While hiking along an old road in Yosemite West, we happen upon a most beautiful wildflower. Its petals are drenched with raindrops and exquisiteness.

The song, Singing In The Rain comes to mind. Ralph Waldo Emerson writes, “The earth laughs in flowers.” We add……even when it rains. Emerson (1803–82), was an American philosopher and poet. He gradually developed the concept of transcendentalism, which found expression in his essay Nature (1836). Transcendentalism teaches that divinity pervades all nature and humanity.
