After a 2 year-long restoration project led by the Yosemite Conservancy and the National Park service, Mariposa Grove is now open!  Featuring new hiking trails and a consolidated parking area, the many improvements will revive the grove's ecology and strength for years to come.

Home to the largest grove of giant sequoias in the Park, Mariposa Grove home to giant Redwood trees, is a must-see for Yosemite visitors and remains an integral part of our country's history. In fact, its brilliance convinced Abraham Lincoln to sign the Yosemite Grant in 1864, paving the way for the future National Park system.

Scenic Wonders invites you to enjoy the reopening of this national treasure. Our accommodations in Yosemite West, Wawona, and Bass Lake are just minutes away, and are all easily accessible to Mariposa Grove.
