Description
"Beautiful, Spacious Home in Yosemite - (WawonaHome.com)", is our vacation rental located in beautiful Wawona, inside Yosemite National Park. It is a 2400-sq ft., two story, 3 bedroom home with 2 1/2 baths, a large living room with fireplace, dining room, kitchen, loft area, laundry room, garage, and 2 decks. It's kid-friendly with a foosball table, a pool table and a ping-pong table in the garage, and a separate TV in the kids' room for parents to enjoy some peace and quiet while the kids are having fun.
The house sleeps up to 10 guests, with a king size bed in the master bedroom downstairs, a queen size bed in the second bedroom, and two twin beds in the third bedroom, upstairs. Also available are a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room and a double-size sleeper futon in the loft.
It is within walking distance of the library, the Pine Tree Market, the river, the Wawona school (where there are an athletic field and a basketball court), and several popular trailheads.
The Wawona golf course is a mile away from the house, as are the Wawona Hotel, the riding stables, the Pioneer History Museum, Stagecoach Rides and the Wawona Store and Gift Shop.
The home is available for vacation rentals during all seasons.
The house is equipped with a number of amenities, including a 42 in. HD TV with NETFLIX streaming movies, PANDORA, surround sound, a large collection of DVDs, music CDs, and Yosemite-related books, laundry room, fireplace, and all linens and towels provided. Dining room table seats 10.
Unlimited, free phone calls to U.S. and free, unlimited wireless internet.
The home is managed by a property management office which provides it with maintenance personnel and housekeeping. The management company also sets all rates for our property and handles all rental transactions directly with the guest.

The Wawona Home was a perfect fit for this trip. The space was great. Everything was clean and in good working order. The house was stocked with everything essential. A nice place that is inside the park already! good internet connection, not perfect but good enough to search for information on what you want to do the next day. drains in toilet and shower are also pretty good.

Our stay at the Wawona Home cabin is the best vacation experience I have had in the 40 years my family and I have been renting in Yosemite We have rented numerous homes over those years in order to compare. We have returned to the Wawona Home repeatedly due to it having all the family amenities for a comfortable stay. Our other favorite stay is the Wawona Glen property.

We love staying at this house. We love how comfortable is to stay at this home and how closed it is to other beautiful locations such as Yosemite Valley. The house is big and welcoming for our group of hikers. We enjoy coming back from a long hike knowing this place has all we need for a relaxed afternoon. The kitchen well equipped with kitchen appliances to cook, and the bathrooms are also well equipped with all we needed. Most importantly the house was clean and well organized. We know we will love to stay again on this home in the future.

It was a great time. Very happy with all the amenities available to my family. Made our visit to Yosemite a lot more convenient and comfortable. If possible, I recommend to switch a couch with a sofa bed because my family is on the bigger side and the beds did not fit us all.

A spacious home with internet in Yosemite was perfect for our family. We worked and did distance-learning in the mornings and walked to nearby trails in the afternoons. We cooked delicious meals in the well-stocked kitchen. And enjoyed playing foosball and billiards.
The only problem we had was that on our first day it had snowed and the temperature was below freezing. Google Maps showed us to take Spelt Road which was icy and steep. Our mini-van could not make it up to the house. By luck we met a local who told us to take Mariposa Ave and turn on an unmarked road to get to Wawona Home. During our stay that is how we got around.
We would like to return maybe in the summer to see the changes in season.

Loved our stay in Wawona. The house was spacious - great living areas, huge master bedroom and the rooms upstairs were comfortable. All was well equipped and as described. We didn’t use the outdoor patios but they would be nice if you had more time hanging around the house. We loved the local library and the Thomas Hill visitor center in the little town. THe Wawona hotel was a great option for eating - I Loved the Salmon! And they were extremely accomodating to dietary restrictions in our group. We did the ranger walk one day at the Mariposa Groves (only a 6 mile drive away) - very interesting and easy walk around the giants - about 1.5 hours and they do it twice a day. We also did the Meadow hike around the meadow directly across from the hotel parking lot. It’s a bit dusty as it shares the trails with horses (only 2 groups passed during the 1.5 hour hike) - would be beautiful in the spring and early summer with the wild flowers. It was still a really nice and easy hike even in fall. On the second day of our visit we ventured back to Mariposa Grove and went up to the Wawona Point Overlook (about 6.8 miles round trip). It was a great hike with lots of Giant Sequoias along the way, a bit of history of the area and points of interest along the way. It culminates at the point after the steady climb of about 1200 ft elevation gain over the 3 miles - nothing to steep- just steady. Views were beautiful over the meadow land below and mountains in the distance. It’s very different than anything we had done during the prior 4 days in northern Yosemite and the Valley areas. We would highly recommend the home.

I am not expecting the house will be that big and very nice deco..as i check in, it is kind a like "wooowww" and "wowwwwww" whenever i enter to a new side of the house..it was excellent stay, calm surrounding, and very perfect place to stay for a big group..very excellent..the only cons is the internet, too slow..but who need internet at this area..just enjoy the nature and the house..

The house was AMAZING. So comfortable, very family friendly layout, and stocked with everything we needed and more. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we could need. It is very apparent that the owners/management put a lot of care and love is in making the experience + home so wonderful. The house, even without air conditioning, was very cool. We followed the directions—open windows at night, then closed during the day. It worked so well that we actually felt like we got a blast of AC when we would come back from hiking. The location was close to the Chilnualna Falls Trail, and although we didn't hike too far (a bit of a challenging trail, especially for kids), there were several fantastic waterholes, and we heard of a couple more we didn't have time to explore. Was so much fun and the water was an absolutely perfect temperature. The kids (and adults) played for hours in the pools. Short walk to the market (small but fully stocked) and short drive to the Wawona hotel (went to the Saturday BBQ there). Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. Thank you.

This was our 4th visit to Wawona and the 2nd time we’re stayed in this cabin. Everything was just as we imagined it would be when we last visited. We would definitely come again. The only difference is the check in. 4pm was too late. I don’t recall checking in that late 8 Years ago. But we would of had love to enjoy the cabin that first day. But other than that everything was wonderful

Was wonderful except for Mother nature. Made the best of it and all 10 of us had a great experience. Road to Valley was closed
Sunday where we had reservations at Majestic. Hotel. We hiked to a nearby water fall and enjoyed the lovely scenery.
Our accommodations were superb and enjoyed by young and old.

We absolutely loved our stay at Wawona home and would stay there again. It was warm, well appointed, and spacious enough for a family of seven to feel like everyone still had their own space. We were able to make breakfast and dinner there, just hang out, do laundry, and basically act as if we were at home. There were lots of little touches that made Wawona home special. They had lots of games, my son enjoyed the pool table and ping-pong table and foosball table. The cooking utensils were all in good shape And over all it was just a great place to stay!
