Description

Welcome to Stoneoaks, an A-frame mountain home hand-built in the late 70s. There are 2,100 square feet on three levels. Stoneoaks has magnificent views to the west offering a daytime panorama of the Sierras and every evening an unforgettable sunset.
There are plenty of windows and exterior decks that face west and south with space to enjoy the national forest surroundings. The interiors are all wood and reflect the warmth and rustic quality of a true Yosemite experience. Due to Stoneoaks unique mountain terrain, this property has 55 steps leading up to its main entrance from the Yosemite Park Way entrance. For most people, this is not a problem and is well worth the climb.

Stoneoaks has a great room that takes full advantage of the soaring A-frame. There is a small but fully equipped kitchen and a large dining table for gatherings. A wood-burning stove and a sofa sleeper in the living room, (not recommended for adults). There are two bedrooms + plus a bonus room, one with queen beds in the first bedroom, a queen bed in the 2nd bedroom, and 2 twin beds in the third bonus kids area. Stoneoaks will sleep up to 8 people. There are three bathrooms, a half bath on the lower level, a three-quarter bath on the main level, and a full bath on the upper level. There is also a den as well.
Stunning views, warm wood interiors, and the magic of the Yosemite forest; Stoneoaks has it all. There are 2 parking spots over the summer and 1 over the winter months.

Everything was very smooth and easy, the cabin was perfect and fit our party of 6 very comfortably. Everything was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the sunsets were amazing. The only thing that could have improved our stay would be more comfortable furniture on the upstairs patio. We loved spending every evening out there to watch the sunset, but the picnic table seems like its on its last leg. I was afraid we were going to break it. Would highly recommend the cabin and would stay here again.

The house was in great condition, bigger than we expected, and had everything we needed. Heat worked well; driveway was spacious enough for our vehicles. My nephew accidentally dropped his stuffed animal down the laundry chute and we were able to contact property management to retrieve it from the locked laundry area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The booking process was very efficient and any changes were handled professionally. I found the group to be very responsive and offered great options and overall great service. The house was just right for us. We needed extra paper goods and would love to see more large mixing bowls that we can use to serve salad or other things. Perhaps a few more kitchen towels and some pot holders would be great too. Overall we have no complaints and we would love to come and stay here again. Thank you!

The home was lovely and conveniently located in Yosemite Park. Grocery store was located not far and we were able to get all our required provisions. The kitchen was extremely clean and had all required amenities. The beds were comfy and view was great!
