The master bedroom has a 32 inch TV with DVD/VCR player, with an extensive VHS movie collection This home has 2 fireplaces with one gas upstairs and one electric downstairs. A large kitchen with all the amenities you need for preparing meals with a TV. The family room and game room are both equipped with 50" TV with an X box with games. and Foosball Table in the game room as well as cable, Internet and a large collection of movies. Also comes equipped with HE washer and dryer. There is a 52-foot long upper deck equipped with a BBQ and a picnic table and a lower deck for eating those meals outdoors or just relaxing as you listen to the sounds of the creek. Fishing poles and bait and tackle are provided for your use at one of the many lakes or in our own backyard.

We loved the house and its location. It was near enough to Yosemite for a day visit but we were near enough to Oakhurst to eat out.
The house was spacious and well equipped . There were plenty of towels and the beds were really comfortable. We would definitely return to the house if we visited again

The place was great. The only thing that was a little tough was the staircase. It would have been nice to have a gate to block the staircases so we could let the little people wander without worrying about them falling down or climbing up.

Sierra Springs is always a joy to rent! We have stayed there several times it's like our home away from home. It's stocked with everything one would want and is spotlessly clean and the creek in the back yard is a plus is so soothing to listen to from the patio deck. Relaxing in the spa at night looking at the stars is something we look forward to. We will be back!

We loved our time at the sierra springs cabin! The home was large and comfortable. We were two families, one with small children and the other with teenagers and having the large master upstairs plus two living spaces was perfect for us. Also, given that there was a ton of snow the level parking just steps from the front door was very convenient. Overall we were extremely happy and would love to stay there again.

Sierra Springs is the perfect place to stay. It has a beautiful creek on the property with fishing when it's fishing season. It has a spa which we enjoyed in the evening . Having a fully stocked home plus a washer and dryer made it very comfortable. The home has a huge selection of VHS movies. I loved the decorating something to look at every turn. The kids enjoyed the fooz ball table and having a fireplace in both family and living rooms made the home comfy and warm. Outside on the huge upper deck was a gas, chairs to lounge and sit in and a picnic table with an umbrella. We all took pictures next to the huge carved wooden bear on the back deck. Bass Lake is 6 miles away and Oakhurst is 5 miles away so we had places to get food or go out to eat. We plan to come back in the near future.

This is a beautiful house in a beautiful setting. The babbling brook in the backyard was the perfect soundtrack to our Yosemite trip. The master bed was so comfortable! Really the house had most everything we needed for our family of five adults to sit back and enjoy our location. If we ever find ourselves back in Oakhurst we will definitely be looking at this property again!
One thing that I missed, which doesn't take away from the excellence of this home, is the kitchen utensils were a bit sparse. It would be great if the owner supplied better spatulas for cooking and a ladle. I had to use a coffee cup to dip our soup, it still tasted good but a ladle would have been easier! lol

For lodging, it was definitely the highlight of our nineteen days in California. We really we were staying in someone's beautiful and well-maintained private home. It was well furnished, with instructions as to operate all the appliances. It was an especially welcomed stay because it was arranged over the phone just a few days before our arrival. We had originally been booked to stay within the park (7251 Yosemite Way), but that portion of park was still closed due to the fires, not to open until the end of August. As it turned out, we still felt very close to the Park, and to nature, but were also close to the town of Oakhurst and shopping. Also close to the south entrance at Mariposa Grove, which we visited the first day of our stay.
