Enjoy all that the Sierra’s have to offer from Sierra Base Camp, a two-story mountain cabin that can accommodate up to 8 persons. There is a cozy bedroom downstairs with a Cal-king bed and a large and lofty upstairs bunk room that has two queen and two twin beds. The house has two bathrooms, a comfortable living room with TV/DVD and gas fireplace and dining area for relaxing between outings. It is equipped with a beautiful kitchen for the person who likes to cook.
Make Sierra Base Camp your home away from home. Perfectly equipped for up to 8 guests. This home has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first-floor has a fully equipped kitchen, living room with gas fireplace, TV/DVD and a bedroom that has a Cal-King bed with Smart TV. Upstairs is a large bedroom with vaulted pine ceilings, there are 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds and Smart TV. This room has an attached bathroom. Enjoy cooking in the newly remodeled kitchen featuring travertine floors and granite countertops. Curl up by the propane fireplace. The kids will enjoy running around and exploring the 2 acres of land. This home has wifi and air conditioning.
Sierra Base Camp is ideally situated for all your Sierra adventures, located just 15 minutes to the southern gate of Yosemite and 10 minutes to Bass Lake. And, for the adventurer who wants to do some exploring outside of the National Park, Sierra Base Camp is just minutes to the Scenic Highway leading to the majestic Ansel Adams Wilderness trailheads and local area mountain bike trails.

My wife and 4 kids stayed here for a short stay to visit Yosemite. I will say this place was amazing. The accommodations, the cleanliness, the overall quality of house was great for the price. My wife mentioned multiple times how much she loved the place.

After our reservation in Wawona was cancelled due to a mandatory evacuation, we were so pleased to stay at Sierra Base Camp. The house was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Our kids loved the family bedroom and the location was a great launching point for a day at Bass Lake, two days in Yosemite Valley, and a side trip to Nelder Grove. YSW staff was friendly and helpful when I called with a question and also helped us retrieve an item we left behind.

Overall everything was great, just couldn’t find DVD player remote or figure out how to turn on DVD player. Hot water upstairs did not last very long. Felt the cabin was very clean and well stocked.

The place was clean and perfect for two families. We appreciated the Graco Pack n Play. All the windows letting natural light in made the place feel warm in the mornings. Wonderful porch to sit on as well to see the wildlife.

We had a wonderful time in the cabin! It was cozy and well furnished, and was a perfect stay for us. We relaxed by the propane fireplace, watched movies, and went for hikes on the nearby Lewis Creek Trail and in Yosemite. The neighborhood is quiet, and we saw wild turkeys, deer, and a fox in the yard. Would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was beautiful and met all of our needs. It was fairly close to Yosemite valley but the distance to the town was very convenient. Due to covid restrictions we cooked all of our meals at the home and we were very fortunate that the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and cook our food.

Our stay was very relaxing. The area was very quite and peaceful. The house was beautiful inside. All appliances were nice. The kitchen had a lot of space. The living room area was an average size. The upstairs bedroom was huge. It was a great area for kids. The cabin is about 20min to Bass Lake.

We absolutely loved Sierra Base Camp! Perfect location - not too far from the store, not too far from Yosemite. The house was perfect for our family of 6 and we could have lived there if allowed. The house was in perfect condition when we arrived, stocked with plenty of towels. We will be visiting again.

High quality kitchen, lots of windows, bathrooms up and down, propane fireplace, lovely quiet location. No instructions for fireplace and we couldn’t get it to work. Pushed maintenance button on phone, in 15 min someone was there—problem was low battery in thermostat. Was so nice to have the ambiance. Kitchen was well stocked and a joy to work in. Beds were very comfortable. Suggestion—Labels on light switches would be nice as we had to keep flipping until right ones were found.

the property was very nice! We like to cook when we travel and the kitchen was very nice. A forest fire started just one ridge over from the house on our first day and we received a call from the owner to discuss concerns and options. She also gave us info regarding the fire and a direct link to her!!!!! We saw a lot of wildlife in the yard, much more than we saw at Yosemite. Enjoyed our stay and made access to the park easy.
