Scenic Wonders & Little Scenic is a 6-bedroom duplex, with two 3 bedroom, two bath units, which can accommodate up to 16 guests.
This custom, Tri-level Original Lincoln Log duplex home, was built with the finest quality red cedar logs from California's Northern High Sierras. This home features a spacious living room with a 24-foot open beam cathedral ceiling, with an authentic river rock propane fireplace and a Redwood burl mantle shelf that is over 2,000 years old.
Please note, that our Scenic Wonders property is a six-bedroom home that sleeps up to 16 guests. Please call our reservations specialist for details.
The living room is open to the kitchen/dining area and is surrounded by a huge 20x by 36x foot wraparound deck, with a six adult capacity Jacuzzi. The living room and deck also overlook a breathtaking forest/mountain view, with a waterfall in the distance during the spring season. Scenic Wonders is a 6-bedroom duplex cabin, with 6 bedrooms, and 4 baths. The top-level "3rd" has 2 bedrooms, with one queen bed in each, one full bath.
The main level "2nd" has one bedroom, the master bedroom with a king-size bed with a master bathroom with Jacuzzi, and a den with a color TV/CD player for the children and a queen-size bed. The living room is equipped with Dish Network satellite TV/DVD, kitchen, and dining area. The first level which is the second unit of the house has 3 bedrooms, and 2 baths. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed, the second has 2 full-size beds, and the third has a triple bunk bed. There are laundry facilities as well. There are 6 parking spots for this cabin. This is a home with plenty of room for those very special family gatherings. Please note, satellite WiFi is free but the wifi speed in unreliable for video streaming and video calling.

Took a quick 2-day trip to Yosemite with my two sons to do some hiking. The house was way bigger than we needed but was very comfortable. Enjoyed the hot tub after the Vernal and Nevada Falls hike. Enjoyed watching the sunrise from the balcony and star gazing at night. Took a bit longer to get to Yosemite Valley than I thought (30-40 minutes) but mainly because of the icy conditions and snow tire requirement.

The location was perfect and the house was well furnished and well-kept. Our only complaint was that it was extremely hot, especially on the upper floors. The lack of A/C made it difficult to sleep.

Property was really nice for a large group like ours. We had plenty of room to spread out and especially enjoyed the deck and hot tub outside. The kitchen was great; the appliances worked for the most part. The bathrooms were adequate and the beds were pretty comfortable. Unfortunately it was very hot during our stay and our lodging had no air conditioner which we knew, but a couple of the floor fans were not working. This made it quite uncomfortable to sleep at night. Otherwise it was a nice place!

We rented this cabin for a second year in a row because the entire family(15 people) enjoyed it so much! The space is inviting, warm, functional, and very beautifully located. The jacuzzi provides great kid entertainment, and the cabin is close to trails and activities in the park. The rooms are decorated very well and are much larger than you would expect. All I all we couldn’t ask for a better experience!

The home was lovely. Linens and towels were a little bit old and the number of towels was limited. The house was nice and clean when we arrived. Lower kitchen is a little dated but the upper kitchen is very nice. We enjoyed our stay. One of the screens for the slider door is off the hinges and the other side has a missing handle to open it. It would be good if those were repaired quickly. We will have a lot of wonderful memories from this vacation.

Loved staying at Scenic Wonders. My family had a great time celebrating our Yosemite elopement. My only requests would be more towels (everyone got one but could have used more because of the hot tub) and instructions on the hot tub (it was super loud when not even being used and we couldn’t make it stop so that we could enjoy birds and nature while outside). The accommodations were amazing. We even saw a bear. We had 11 people and had plenty of room. The kitchens were well-stocked the deck and the hot tub were wonderful. The only thing that would’ve made it better is air conditioning it was really hot the fans were helpful but didn’t do the job I would definitely book it again just in a cooler time of the year. It’s in a great location was pretty close to everything we wanted to see

Isaac was a TERRIFIC host, mainly because he is extremely responsive. The house worked very well for our group. It did get a bit hot toward the end of the week (it was a heatwave) which made the upstairs room a bit hot and stuffy for heating, but this is not a compliant as we know that it was unusual weather. We are a family of 8 adults and 5 children under the age of 11, and the Scenic Wonders property accommodated us all very well with room to be comfortable together and yet still have privacy when desired. The location is outstanding with incredible views, and the wrap around deck and jacuzzi made the outdoors easily enjoyed. We were all astounded by the warmth and beauty of the inside decorating as well as the wonderful details and supplies provided. The huge dining table, the very large, comfortable sofa, the natural light from all the beautiful windows, the comfortable and unique beds all contributed to making the space very welcoming and cozy.
We also took advantage of the peaceful setting as well as the ease of getting to the park and all its wonders. This was by far the best birthday celebration of all my 72 years! The rest of the family enjoyed it so much they have decided this needs to be a yearly family tradition!

The place is just beautiful. Cozy, spacious and we got so lucky this wasn’t what we booked in the beginning but due to plumbing issue we were upgraded to here with no extra cost. Thank you scenic wonders. My family and I love this property, the kids enjoyed the jacussi. It was only 35 min from yosemite falls but super close to the burned trees but no smoke at all it was perfectly fine.

Great remodel on the kitchen - really appreciated by us all. Flooring looks good and smart move too. This house, that was built by Ken and his dad, really feels like home to our family. We just booked 2021 for our 30th anniversary of staying there. We started in 1991 right after the house was completed that July. It's a special place for our family.
One suggestion: do replace the spa cover. The temporary fix makes it extremely heavy with the 2x8s stuffed in the outer jacket and you might know- 25% of the cover is broken. Also replace the living room lamp foot switch - hit and miss to operate.

Wonderful house and was pleased at how staff shoveled the stairs and deck each day and the driveway got plowed. Thought overall the plowing of the roads in the community was great. Only exception was Sunday morning when we left at 8:15 am the roads were not plowed and it was difficult getting to the highway even with chains.

Entire party loved our stay. the cabin was beautiful, the rooms were all very nice. Plenty of room for everyone. Nice views. We enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hiking in the valley. We took our groceries and found all the necessities to prepare all our food. We were able to bbq outside on the grill. It was just great!!

We had a wonderful stay during a snowy winter visit to Yosemite. Close proximity to the valley while maintaining comfort and a great place to come back each evening. Our large group cooked meals each evening, watched it snow while in the hot tub on the porch, stargazed at night and grouped together in the spacious dining room and living room (with a fire) for evening games and lively chats. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all excellent, not needing to give any visitor a ‘bad room’ and the water stayed hot for every shower. Truly can’t say enough about how wonderful this place was for our group. Would highly recommend!

Excellent customer service, beautiful cabin, very clean. Enjoyed our stay.
Would help to indicate in the "welcome binder" how and if we should separate trash from recyclables. Also - for the Scenic Wonders cabin, it is difficult to fit all the trash in both binds - would be helpful for future customers to indicate that leftover / surplus trash can be left inside, by the door to the cabin.

We enjoyed the accommodations. With 6 bedrooms my family--3 married children, their spouses and 5 grandchildren and us could all be together. It is rare that all of us are in the same place at once so it was a special treat. In general the house was very well supplied. The one item that was short were sufficient chairs for all of us to sit around the dining table. There were 13 of us. The place advertises as adequate for 16 people, but there were not even 13 chairs in the whole place. My one suggestion would be to add some folding chairs. Also a card table for games would be nice. Other than that we loved it.

The view and main living room are beautiful beyond words. Thank goodness for the floor 1 TV as the Direct TV remote on the main floor doesn’t work — it did allow you to lower the volume but not increase the volume nor change any channels.
