Perched high in the pine trees, 2 bedroom & 2 bath duplex Little Sport
Perched high in the pine trees, with a great view, is the other half of the Sport Chalet duplex. This unit has a granite rock fireplace in the living room, with a rustic pine mantle shelf, and is open to the dining area, with kitchen & skylights, to bring in that natural light.
Here you will be relaxing in a very roomy, split-level, private 2-bedroom 2-bath property that comfortably sleeps 6. This unit has a granite rock wood-burning fireplace in the living room, with a TV/DVD Satellite. Each bedroom has a queen bed, and there is a queen sofa bed in the living room. Due to Little Sports' unique mountain terrain, this property has 56 steps leading up to its main entrance, and the satellite WiFi speed is unreliable for video streaming and video calling. For most people, this is not a problem and is well worth the climb. There is 2 parking spots all year, sometimes 1 over winter months.
• Do you have internet access at any of your home properties? Yes but very limited! Only a few of our home properties have recently been able to receive Internet access. Due to our remote location, and the fact that most of our properties are surrounded by tall Yosemite pine and cedar trees, it makes it almost impossible to receive clear satellite signals, cable isn’t available yet in our community. The system we currently have is a satellite-based Internet system and is vulnerable to adverse weather conditions, therefore we cannot guarantee Internet connectivity during your stay.

We were a party of four, two couples, and we stayed for two nights. The property was well furnished, clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The 56 steps from the parking area to the entrance was challenging after a long day walking around Yosemite, but helps keep you in shape. The beds were comfortable, the bedding clean, and the showers had decent water pressure and plenty of hot water.
We noticed some of the craftsmanship was shoddy, particularly on the deck, but that didnt affect our stay; more of an observation. One other observation, the dishwashers lower dish rack was challenging to keep aligned, and we had to gingerly position it, so the lower spray arm would spin unobstructed from the dish rack.

Cabin was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Location was great with very nice view. I would not hesitate to stay here again. My only minor issue would be the internet speed. I know it is clearly mentioned that connectivity is limited and good for light e-mail. The nature of my work prevents me from completely disconnecting and need I need a higher level of connectivity. During my visit I saw many cabins equipped with Starlink which would be sufficient. This is not a complaint but more of a suggestion which would increase the appeal of this cabin even further. This is something that might be considered in the future. All this being said we were very pleased with our stay.

Was a wonderful place to stay. The accommodation was very good. Our son struggled with the pull out couch bed. It was a bit uncomfortable. But aside from that, I would highly recommend “Little Sport”. Another useful piece of equipment would be a small axe for splitting the fire wood. Thanks.

Lovely cabin. Very clean and cozy. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. It snowed like crazy and we had access to a shovel and some firewood. Also they did a great job plowing the roads (friendly guy too). My family had such a great time. We will definitely be back to this property or another Scenic Wonders property.

As other reviewers have said this place is dated but it was clean. The only thing that was sort of disappointing was the bathtub in one of the bathrooms had been painted and the paint is flaking all off. Looks pretty gross!

Everything was fine. The only thing that should be mentioned in the ad is the # of steps into the unit… 56! I’m in great shape at 67, but I ended up lugging the other parties luggage up the stairs and incline.

First of all, the location is perfect. Equidistant from the Valley and Miraposa Grove. Just a hop to Glacier point road. The kitchen was beautifully stocked for real use and the place was clean and cozy. The only thing is there was no washer-dryer for clothes. So dont forget quarters. The laundry is just around the corner, no big deal. The check in and check out was so easy. Love the place and the lovely service.

Such a convenient location - close but not right in the village. Accommodations were great. Would suggest having a roll of aluminum foil and maybe some cooking spray for the idiots like us who forgot them. All in all a great BNB.

Overall experience was nice. The unit was comfortable and well-equipped for our stay. Very easy to check in and get situated.
We weren’t thrilled about the state of the tubs. They looked unclean due to all the discoloration from the peeling and would recommend fixing that for future guests.

The place was as described, very comfortable and cozy. Check in process was smooth and easy. I would stay there again.
There was quite a bit of peeling in both showers/bathtubs that could use repair. Also the lower rack in the dishwasher didnt fit (it seems to be for a different dishwasher model) which made loading and unloading the dishwasher difficult.

We could not have asked for a more ideal location to Yosemite National Park then staying in Yosemite West. Little Sport was one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. From the great view every morning to the stars at night, the front porch provided, to the accommodations everything was great. Yosemite West is our new found home for our return trips to Yosemite.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. There were a couple things that stopped it from being perfect. One of them was not the fault of the property. It was 100 degrees and not having A/C available was extremely rough. The provided fans were ok but very loud. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms would be A LOT nicer.
Also the master bath shower wasn’t great. Adjusting the temp wasn’t easy. It was either really hot or cold. We used the other bathroom for showering.
The house was very clean and overall we enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was great and had everything we need. The living room/dining room does get hot during the day, so having an extra fan might be nice. We appreciate the cleanliness of the place and how peaceful it was.

Would have appreciated more basic food supplies provided, such as olive oil, spices, etc. These are often available in other airbnbs.

We chose this lodging because of location and appreciated that it was also well-outfitted with good kitchen essentials, a great outdoor grill and good appliances. Space was ideal for 2 couples, each with their own Queen bdrm and bathroom (one en-suite; the other just outside bdrm door).
We were fine climbing a few flights of stairs up to the deck & front door (might be an issue for less mobile folks).
We will recommend Little Sport to all of our friends visiting Yosemite. Great accommodations, great location and absolutely quiet neighborhood.

At the time of making the reservation, there was no mention of the number of stairs for this property. Only after the reservation was made did we find that out. It would have been good to know ahead of time, in case someone was not able to climb that many stairs. However, it was fine for us.

We brought friends from Australia with us - their first time to Yosemite. Of course they were speechless over the Park's beauty. Accommodations were very comfortable. We appreciated the heads up about downloading directions to the rental before arriving in the park. Perhaps the only thing missing from the rental home was some games, even a deck of cards. The plentiful fire wood was appreciated.

Condo size and amenities were perfect for our family of 3. We used the kitchen for breakfast and dinner for a change of pace from national park food. Everything was clean and well maintained. The map I printed from GoogleMaps did not have the street names on it and the winding nature of the streets is a bit confusing. Luckily we had great cell service from Verizon for most of our trip so we found the house without much trouble.

We came to hike the Panorama Trail.
