Description

Half Dome Loft will make your Yosemite vacation memorable, comfortable and unique. The special experience begins the moment that you step onto the warm and welcoming front porch adorned with hand-carved signs and locally-harvested cedar logs. AIR CONDITIONING and FREE WIFI. Walk through the front doors and you’ll witness the massive wooden beams and the high-soaring vaulted ceilings. During the months of June through September, the parking area is expansive with 3 parking spots and offers easy wheelchair access to the front door, with a low-incline ramp and no steps. From October through May, during the snowy season, 4WD and chains are required and there is 1 parking spot only.
Throughout this roomy (2,500 square feet) home, you’ll discover custom details and decorations, and plenty of places to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring the park. Is it hot outside? Inside you’ll be wonderfully cool thanks to the powerful, central air-conditioning.
Climb up to the loft and sink into one of the overstuffed bean bags; take a tilt on the cypress porch swing; sit and enjoy the view from the expansive, covered deck; or watch a movie in the great room on the 65” 4K TV.
For those groups that love to cook together, you’ll find a large, fully stocked kitchen. Enjoy your meal on the farmhouse-style dining table, or take the feast outside to the covered deck, where you’ll find table seating for 12 guests, plus a comfortable nine-foot sofa. It’s a great place to enjoy the evening calm. This three-bedroom home was designed with your comfort in mind. Two of the bedrooms feature California King-size beds and bedside sofas. The third bedroom features two sets of twin-xl bunk beds, as well as its own 55” 4K TV.
In addition, everyone will love the giant loft, with two queen-size futon sleeper-sofas, a half-dozen super comfortable bean bags, as well as a 55” 4K TV. The kids will especially love the four custom Murphy beds that are hidden behind elegant Alder wood cabinets. For ultimate functionality and convenience, each of the two bathrooms features a wide, double-faucet trough sink, and separate rooms for each of the showers and toilets.
This home also features satellite TV, Blu-ray player, board games, outdoor gas grill, and a washer/dryer. Satellite internet is free but is not fast enough for reliable video streaming and video calling.

Half Dome was perfect for us. We are a group of 75+ guys who all went to high school together. Each year we get together in a different place for several days to catch up and enjoy a new adventure. Half Dome was a great location and had everything we needed for our get together. Thanks to Natalie for helping us find the right place and for making it easy.

Half Dome Loft exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of room for the entire family to spread out; due to the open concept we could be together without getting in each others way (especially during meal prep). The living area offered plenty of seating options; and well-planned, unobtrusive surfaces upon which to place things. The website was clear, information well-organized; the map was easy to follow, and accessing the unit was simple. I cant wait to come back to your beautiful mountain! (The sunset was awesome!)

Had a great time. Even though the house is not technically inside Yosemite, you dont go out of the exit, so no waiting in line to get into the park in a daily basis. The house is well equipped. Loved the Murphy beds in the loft for kids. We wished the bathroom had a door (the toilet does) and that the washing machine was in a common area and not inside a bedroom area. Wifi is slow but we came for an escape. Overall only minor issues. We lived our stay and would stay here again.

Lovely house, good location to the park and very comfortable. Great to have a washer and dryer in the house. A couple of negatives, one of the bathroom sink and shower were clogged and even after calling, it still drained very slowly. Considering the cost I would have thought shampoo and conditioner would be provided. Otherwise everyone had a great time.

House furnishing and space was absolutely luxurious. Location (20 min) away from Yosemite Valley was so convenient. The space is much larger than the photos depict. :)

I loved the open space layout and modern farmhouse design of Half Dome Loft. The amenities were complete and so very comfortable. It was also easy to find from the entrance of Yosemite West. Although there were only six of us, the place could easily fit two families max.

Wonderful cabin for our family vacation! Beautiful, comfortable, newer cabin with lots of amenities and space. The kids loved the bunk beds and loft area. The home was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. We enjoyed the cozy gas fireplace, laundry machines onsite, and board games provided. We were lucky to be there when it snowed. Scenic Wonders did a great job clearing the snow in the driveway and keeping the cabin very clean! Thank you!

Half Dome Loft was absolutely perfect for our family. Plenty of space. The little ones loved the loft. Dining, kitchen and LR very functional. Beds were comfy. We would definitely want to stay there again. Housekeepers did a great job prior to our arrival.

Cabin was in excellent condition - cleanliness, newness, top of the line appliances and cookware for all the cooking we did, etc. Good water pressure and w/ plenty of hot water temp for the 8 of us showering after hiking all day. Quiet perfect location! We hope to come back to the same cabin soon!

We visited Yosemite to take our kids and their friends to Badger Pass. We were pleasantly surprised at how close the house was to the ski resort. Half Dome Loft was absolutely amazing. The design of the house is very well thought out and our group was very comfortable.
