Description
Welcome to Friends Lodge, located inside Yosemite National Park, in Wawona. This 3 bedroom, 3 bathrooms, the two-story lodge may accommodate up to 14 guests. Open year-round, you may experience all four seasons from this cozy lodge with wonderful amenities and views. It is a creekfront, pet-friendly $50 per day, outdoor Jacuzzi rental that has Wifi, Laundry facilities, Game room, and much much more to enjoy with your friends and family. This home also has Central Heating & Air Conditioning!
Friends Lodge has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a study room and a game room. The first bedroom has 2 queen beds, the second bedroom has one queen bed, the third bedroom has two twin beds and a queen bed and two cots in the closet. The study room has a futon and there is a sofa bed in the living room.
This 2303 Sq. Ft. home has a large wrap around deck which is 1325 Sq. Ft., that sits beside Chilnualna Falls Creek, which flows from the Lower Chilnualna Falls, which you can hike to from this cabin. An outdoor Jacuzzi and gas grill with patio furniture are also provided on the deck.
The first level has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room seating for 14 guests, laundry room and one of the bedrooms (with 2 queen beds) and bathroom. There is a spacious living room with a wood burning stove, which we provide you with free firewood. The living room has a 55" flat screen TV, DVD player, Direct TV service, including some premium channels. There is a sofa bed in the living room as well. The game room is also located on the first floor and has a Foosball table.
Each bedroom has a TV with Direct TV.
This property also has an EV charging station for you electrical vehicle charging needs
The second floor has the second bedroom, study room, and master suite. The master suite has its own private bathroom and balcony.
Air Conditioning, central heating, and a backup generator are also provided. You may use the landline for free local and USA phone calls.
This is a pet-friendly cabin. There is a $50 pet fee, per day. Maximum pets allowed are 2.

Thank you for a cozy winter stay! The location is ideal. The last cabin at the end of a quiet road with a creek running down behind and lots space for parking, to walk the dog & let kids play. The back deck is gated so we were able to enjoy with the dog off leash. The home was spacious, comfortable, clean, and extremely well stocked. We are a family of three and and only needed to use the first floor. We can’t wait wait to come back with extended family!

The home and location were perfect for what God had planned for us.
The home was clean and nicely furnished at fit any needs we had.
Having the river behind the house was very much enjoyed. Being able to walk to the falls, the swimming hole and the pioneer village was wonderful.

Our initial interaction with Sam was extremely positive. Sam was cordial and eager to answer our plethora of questions. We really enjoyed our stay at Friends Lodge and would definitely stay there again if we ever vacationed in the area at a future time. We found the house very comfortable in accommodating six adults. The home presented itself with a let down feel and fit the area very well. The drive to the Valley could be a little taxing day after day, but is more than doable and so worth it. Because the park itself had quite a number of trails closed, we chose to leave a day early and visit the northern coast of California.
Loved our stay at Friends Lodge and as stated earlier, would use your company to rent that property or another.

This was a wonderful home in a wonderful location. I have never been to a vacation rental that was so well stocked and organized. Our entire party loved the home and the environment. It was such a wonderful place to celebrate a family event. We would definitely go back in a heartbeat.

We would definitely book a cabin again with Scenic Wonders if we decide to return to Yosemite.

We enjoyed our stay at friends lodge at Yosemite park with slightly less number of people than we have expected due to recent surge of Corona virus nationwide.
House had everything we needed. Weather was unusually hot but was able to rest at this well air conditioned cool house at the end of the day.

We had a wonderful time - our first visit to Yosemite and the house was exactly what we needed! Highly recommend staying in the park as it allowed us to be on the trails early. The house was well stocked, had plenty of space and room for the kids to run around.

At first we were disappointed to have our stay at Buss switched to friends Lodge, but that turned out to be no problem at all! We all loved our stay, our location and all of the amenities. We would like to apologize for not taking out the garbage. We didnt see that were were supposed to until we got home. However, we did run the dishwasher and leave the place tidy. It was a great accommodation and we may ask for it by name next time!

My family and I met up for a mini reunion and we stayed at Friends Lodge in Wawona. Everyone had a good time, the house was excellent and well stocked with everything we needed from pots and pans to blankets and board games. Everyone in our group was happy. And it was only about a 45 min drive up to Tunnel View and the village.

We really enjoyed the house and the hot tub was enjoyed by all of us. My only recommendation is to replace the bed pillows. The current pillows seemed to be old and hard.

The place was immaculate and had everything we needed for a great stay. I love the feel of the cabin. I felt like I was transported back in time. Living in a cabin in a simpler time. Our group loved loved this place. We plan to come back for a longer stay. Make no mistakes though, even though this place has a rustic vibe, it has all the accouterments of modern living. Washer, dryer, youtube, etc. etc. Thank you so much!
