This Craftsman-style home is the perfect place to make your Yosemite vacation truly unforgettable. Inside and out, you will be stunned by the charm of this home, the attention to fine detail, and the light and airy feel you experience throughout. The interior is decorated in a charming cottage style, beautifully modern yet with a vintage feel. After a day exploring the wonders in Yosemite, imagine coming back to relax in a home that is worthy of this spectacular national park. AIR CONDITIONING NOW INSTALLED AND FREE WIFI provided as well.
In addition to the gorgeous appeal, this home was designed to make your stay as comfortable as possible including convenient parking and access. The home is a rare single-story property that can accommodate guests of all ages. There are about 10 steps from the parking area, leading down to the entrance. Both restrooms offer double sinks and separate toilet and shower areas. There is satellite base wifi and air conditioning as well. The master suite features a king-size bed, while the middle bedroom has two sets of twin-over-twin bunk beds, as well as a High Definition TV in case the children would like to have their own space to play video games or watch a movie. Satellite WiFi is available for free but is not fast enough for streaming and video calling. The front bedroom has a queen bed decorated with vintage decor, while the living room features a vaulted cottage-style plank ceiling, river rock fireplace, and a 60" 4K TV, complete with Blu-Ray player and satellite cable. The distressed dining table allows comfortable seating for 8 people. The fully stocked kitchen boasts a stylish farmhouse sink, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and beadboard cabinets. Additionally, there is a dining table on the rear deck if you prefer to dine al fresco or simply wish to enjoy the mountain air and forest view. There is a gas BBQ if you would like to grill. The covered front porch features two very comfortable rocking chairs, perfect for sipping your morning coffee or tea.
This property is located INSIDE the gates of Yosemite National Park and is centrally located to many of the popular destinations including Yosemite Valley (20 minutes), Badger Pass Ski Area (15 minutes), and Wawona (20 minutes). For larger groups (up to 20 people), consider renting this home in conjunction with The River Rock Retreat, which is just a stone's throw away.
This cabin has 2 parking spots during the fall, winter, and spring months. During summer there are 3 parking spots.

This is our third time booking with Scenic Wonders and it was a wonderful experience again. Cabin was very clean and well stocked. This was our first time staying in this particular cabin and it was perfect for our group and one of our favorites.
The few things that would improve in this cabin are 1) More dish towels. There were only 2 and it wasnt enough. 2) New knife set. The knife set is terrible and it was so hard to cut anything. 3) Some serving platters 4) Would love just a few nonbreakable dishware for kids.

House was spotless and location was amazing. A few suggestions - please include Kleenex or tell people to bring their own. Also, the can opener was not working/dull and didnt work well. You may want to replace. Otherwise - perfection! Thank you!

Our family stayed from October 14-18, 2021 and it was perfect. The house is very comfortable and appointed well. The only suggestion would be to include food storage containers in the kitchen as well for people who stay longer to store leftovers easier would really be helpful, as well as, some additional games, cards, etc for all age ranges. Other than that, they house is in a great location and easily accessible. We really enjoyed ourselves.

The house was amazing! We loved our time in Yosemite and having a beautiful home to stay in while there made it even more special. The nights were warm, but we had ceiling fans in each bedroom and a couple of stand fans in the living area made a big difference. My only, and I do mean only, recommendation is to add a large ceiling fan in the living room. We will definitely stay here again!!

The home was beautiful, well-stocked, and spacious. We made all our meals there because there are not many options for food around. The big kitchen and open dining room and den made it easier to prepare and cook food. Service was fast when we needed something fixed. Note that to get to Yosemite Valley is more than 30 minutes. If there is just a little traffic, the time increases a lot quicker. Take snacks with you since you wont know how long it will take to get there or back. Overall, this was a great home and the vacation rental service company was very responsive.

It was great. We loved the house. Very charming. It was a perfect fit for our family and everything was in great condition. A couple points to emphasize for future renters. 1. There are not a lot of food options nearby, so we recommend guests bring all the food they are going to need. We had assumed there would be a grocery store within a closer distance. 2. It would have been nice to have a few more staples in the house. Things like soap, shampoo, and maybe some spices or cooking oil.

The Craftsman Cottage is stylish and wonderful. Obviously, the highlight is Yosemite itself, and we tried to maximize our time in the park rather than at the cottage. But what a wonderful place to come home to. If I had one complaint, it is that recycling should have been easier. I ended up packing up everything and recycling it elsewhere.
I will highly recommend Scenic Wonders. Also, the staff was extremely helpful.

It was an excellent, updated property, and was very clean. Top notch decor. The only draw back was no A/C, and it was a hot spell at Yosemite, so even at night the temperature was above 80 degrees with all the windows open. There was almost no air movement to pull cooler air inside, even with all the fans on.

Craftsman cottage was extremely clean and well furnished. It was warm so wish there had been a couple more fans available for use as no AC. We expected the WiFi to be spotty but it was not working at all. Great location and easy parking without too many stairs (16). Would have preferred some more outside deck space, lounging area.

The Craftsman was very comfortable, beautifully well-built and is located in a convenient location 20 minutes from the valley floor. It was a perfect place to come home to after long rigorous trail hikes, and we would love to rent it again some day! We didn't realize we had to turn on the Dish unit from the bunk bedroom in order for the living room TV to receive signal, but figured it out the second day to be able to access reception. Also, it was possible there was internet access/wifi but we were not able to access any internet while on the house wifi.

My now husband and I got married and had our first look at Isaac’s Starfall. It was perfect. Our family stayed at the cottage and LOVED it.
