Chipmunks Den is a charming rustic cabin. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin is surrounded by towering pines. The downstairs bedroom has a set of twin over twin bunk beds across from a full bathroom. Upstairs is another bedroom with a king bed and bathroom with walk in shower. Downstairs is a sofa bed, recommended for children only. Enjoy a home cooked meal in the fully equipped kitchen or relax and BBQ on the propane grill while enjoying nature. This home has central heat and air conditioning to keep you comfortable year round. There is also a propane fireplace perfect for those cold winter nights. Easy access for 2 vehicles makes this a perfect family cabin.

The cabin was spotless clean, however, there is an odor that that you can smell from the moment that you open the front door. Once we opened the doors, it got better. But we had to close everything when we left the property for the day. So the cabin would have the awful smell again when we returned. We even purchased an air freshener and used it often. Overall, it is an Ok property that could be much better with a few simple upgrades. Note; the stove has a problem with the front left burner. The starter is clicking when using any other burner.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chipmunks Den. The house was easy to find and was clean and welcoming upon our arrival. Our only issues were the low lighting and having 2 giant spiders join us in the downstairs bathroom. Not a huge deal though. We would come back in a heartbeat!

We really liked the cabin. Wed like to suggest a few things- there was not enough lighting. It was very dark and hard to see after the sun went down. The place could also benefit from a real dining table. The upstairs bathroom felt incomplete with the exhaust fan cover missing and the tiny, low mirror over the sink. The place has a ton of potential.
