Bassett's Cabin is a bi-level, pet friendly 1850 Sq. Ft home in historical Wawona inside Yosemite National Park. 5 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms sleep up to 6 guests comfortably. Included amenities are a washer and dryer, dishwasher, satellite tv, DVD player, ping-pong table, and most importantly WIFI! Pet-friendly $50 per day.
Bassett's Cabin is a bi-level, 1850 Sq. Ft home in historical Wawona inside Yosemite National Park. 5 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms sleep up to 6 guests comfortably. Downstairs in the first bedroom is a queen-size bed. Next to that bedroom is a full bathroom. Upstairs are 4 bedrooms, two with two twin beds and two rooms with two full-size beds. There is another full bathroom on this level.
The living room hosts a wood-burning fireplace and wood is provided during burn season. Enjoy a BBQ on the Weber propane grill or relax on the deck and enjoy the sounds of the Merced River, just a short walk away. Cool off in the river on hot summer days, one of the best swimming holes is close by. Included amenities are a washer and dryer, dishwasher, satellite TV, DVD player, ping-pong table, and most importantly WIFI! Pets are welcome for an additional $50.00 a night.

The cabin was comfortable, well-stocked, clean and in a great location.We did have some difficulty figuring out how to lock the door using the keypad. Some instructions how to do so would be nice. Also, the binder referred to instructions for using the fireplace, but we did not see any. And the binder seems to maybe have old wifi information. We figured it out but you may want to update it. Our stay was great, just some suggestions. Thank you!

We went to Yosemite for a family vacation and loved our experience. Our cabin was perfect for our needs and was inside of the park so we did not have to worry about lines to enter every day. The scenery and hikes in Yosemite were breathtaking and we can not wait to return.

We reserved Basset’s Cabin in Wawona. The cabin was spacious, clean, and had everything we would need. We appreciated that we never had to leave or re-enter the park as there were long lines at the entrance each day. It was a short drive to walks in the snow and sledding for the children.

Spotlessly clean cabin, well-appointed kitchen with everything we needed. Minimal demands to clean up and exit cabin which is very helpful when traveling with young kids and negotiating all the details. Very comfortable beds and linens were fantastic. Highly recommend!

The Bassett cabin was just perfect! We love Yosemite and have stayed, multiple times here. We took walks and relaxed on the patio, reading, every afternoon. They have a beautiful fireplace that made the nights cozy. The kitchen is fully supplied with cooking and dining utensils.
A must see was Yosemite Falls as it had recently snowed. Such a majestic surrounding, being at it’s base. Hold on to your hat though! We lunched at the Awanhee Hotel and walked through the village. A very enjoyable drive and day (only 40 minutes from the cabin).
The Bassett cabin is highly recommended for a change of pace, a quiet getaway and rejuvenating the soul.

Scenic Wonders worked with us in some tough weather conditions (icy road conditions, tree down in front of cabin, two groups coming different areas).
They called and helped me with making sure the first group could get in.
The cabin having an automatic generator saved the arrival of young family with kids. The house heat was on and we had wood for the fireplace.
The house worked so well for the six of us and would have been fine for total of 10 (some family members canceled).
All in working condition only issue was the soap container in dishwasher (little door) would not work so we just put the soap in the bottom.

8 girl friends stayed at Bassetts Cabin in Wawona, the cabin was very clean and well stocked in kitchen with pot, dishes, and cutlery.
I would bring my family here next we are at Yosemite.

We had a wondrous stay at the cabin, it was very rustic and quaint, the scenery was beautiful and really enjoyed sitting, and eating out on the deck, it was quiet abd peaceful. We enjoyed the BBQ. We would definitely stay there again.

This cabin was great. Location was awesome. The little store down the road was very convenient. Ways to improve would be to have ketchup mustard mayonnaise that sort of thing but I understand with Covid it may not be possible.

I love this cabin. I have stayed in it twice before. Water pressure was a little low and it fluctuates but nothing to go crazy about. I wish this was something everyone could experience but Wawona cabins have become so overly expensive and continue to rise. Please think about this as golf and skiing have gone this route and now are only really for the rich and super rich. We made sure to noire people up during our stay that maybe would not have the opportunity to do this.

More than we expected. The place is clean. The linens and towels were enough for 9 or even 10 people. We don’t need to call any of the staff because they have taken care of everything ahead of time. The kitchen is so important because Wawona doesn’t have restaurants or groceries that are open late. So for guests who will go hiking all day better stack up the ref. We will definitely go back in this awesome cabin. There are more places at Yosemite that we want to see. Bassets Cabin we will definitely see you again.

The stay was exactly as we expected even better. Maybe a « nespreso » machine for coffee lovera will be fine. Otherwise, it was clean, very well furnished and very good communication with the staff.

It was a beautiful cabin. The only problem was that in 3 rooms upstairs where hot. But they had fans to cool down. The first floor toilet was not working but we had the upstairs one working. Can wait to go back. Thank you scenic wonders!
