Anglers Rest is a family friendly cabin located up historic road 632 at 3300 ft elevation. Surround yourself with towering pines and enjoy watching the local wildlife right outside your door.
There are two bedrooms and two full baths. The first room has a full/full bunk complete with memory foam mattresses and a 32 LED TV with Roku. The Master has a Cal King bed with high quality memory foam mattress, a 40 LED TV with Roku and cable. There are four twin size foam mattresses for use. This home has air conditioning.
Enjoy cooking in your fully stocked kitchen complete with all appliances and high quality cookware. After dinner relax on the leather sectional and enjoy a movie on the 55 inch TV with surround sound. The kids will enjoy playing the Xbox 360 and many games provided. Or venture outside to play tether ball or horseshoes.
Only 11 miles to Yosemite's South entrance and only 5 miles to Bass Lake where you can enjoy year round fishing. Continue up road 632 and see the 4th largest tree in the world at Nelder Grove. Perfect for the whole family! The Anglers Rest caters to all fishermen beginning to advanced, 6 fishing poles and bait and tackle are provided for your use at one of the many surrounding lakes or streams!

It was a excellent and exciting visit. All the staff and customer service were extremely helpful and nice, our cabin we stayed at was very clean, roomy and had everything my family and I needed to enjoy my stay including activities for my son , movies , games, bbq set up & horse shoes. One thing that I loved the most was that I felt secured in the house once it was time to go to bed. Lock security on the doors and windows were great. Definitely will be coming back this year.

Place was very well cleaned, I had all kinds of utensils needed for cooking.
Place is a little far from Yosemite Valley, but definitely worthy to stay there and make good use of the house.
We are already planning our next trip to Yosemite and will most likely stay in the same place.

We had a wonderful time. The fact that my 2 autistic children loved it and were very comfortable made it easier. The set up of the house brought a level of peace to them which felt like home (which is very important for kids on the spectrum). Also my visually impaired child was able to get around the property without any issues. Everything was fully stocked and ready to go.

This cabin was the best place I have stayed!! Fully equipped with everything you need. From a crock pot to a waffle maker and a jacuzzi tub in the master. Aaa family of 5 (3 little girls) under 6, they enjoyed tetherball and the backyard. Xbox 360 kept them busy at night. We would definitely stay here again! I’ve told all my friends and family about it!

During our stay we felt we are home. When we entered inside we said wow even a little kid loves it. All i have to bring is food to cook and everything is there and all utensils and kitchen gadgets are complete.They even have complete condiments. Laundry no worries to bring home your dirty clothing bec you can wash whatever you wore during vacation with laundry detergent. Clean restroom with toiletries , all rooms has xbox ,netflix,prime,etc. internet is working fast and have home phone where you can call outside due to no reception using cp. People from ofc are so nice they find ways to help you answer question. I highly recommending Anglers rest

The house is really nice. It's located about 1 hour by driving from Yosemite's Valley. About 5KM to the Oakhurst town. We found a nice Chinese restaurant and the supermarket in the town. The house is very clean, warm and well-equipped like the home. Everything we need is prepared. We all loved this house very much and wanted to stay longer. The reservation is really telling you everything which made us very happy.

I loved being able to go straight to the cabin and entering a door code.
The heat worked great. I loved the cable TV set up and wifi.
I loved the carport to protect my car from snow and rain.

Property is located in proximity of Yosemite southern entrance and the shopping centre of Oakhurst. It is in the wild but close to the comforts of the city. Very clean, spacious, full kitchen equipped with all the necessary tools and appliances, dryer and washing machine worked perfectly. The fire place in the dining room was easy to operate and added a nice touch of rusticity. Only minus points:Wifi and TV signals not reliable and stable, ut we were there not for the tech but for the nature. We would choose it again when staying in the area.

My family has stayed in many vacation rental homes and condos in different parts of the country, and this was one of the best we've ever had. In particular, I appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was. One of the main reasons we rely on rentals when traveling is that one of our children has a food allergy, which means that we prefer to do our own cooking as much as possible. The kitchen at Anglers Rest had everything we could possibly have wanted and then some; and much higher quality cookware and appliances than we typically find in rental properties. The house was also clean, spacious, and comfortable -- exactly what we wanted to come back to after a long day of hiking in Yosemite.
