Cute, cozy, and charming, this two-level duplex mountain chalet has a lovely Alpine view, for which it gets its name. It also has an outdoor Jacuzzi and Starlink WiFi!


Cute, cozy, and charming, this two-level duplex mountain chalet has a lovely Alpine view, for which it gets its name. There are 2-bedrooms, and two 3/4 baths, which can accommodate up to four guests.

Starting at the second level, you will find your living room with a pull out queen bed, and a cozy propane fireplace, TV/DVD Satellite, Starlink WiFi, a galley style kitchen breakfast nook, and a 3/4 bath. Follow the spiral staircase down to the first level, and you will find 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in the first bedroom, and a king bed in the master bedroom, a 3/4 bath, and a four adult capacity outdoor Jacuzzi on your very own secluded deck, right outside the master bedroom. There are 2 parking spots all year.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Unit either met or exceeded our expectations in all ways. Dont let no wifi in comments scare you. Wifi was available, wifi telephone and media use was fine. All in all, a wonderful place to stay. Thank you.

Our stay was great. We did have a drop in from the owner and an electrician to look at the stove/oven but they were quick and courteous didn’t bother us at all. The residence was very clean and had everything we could need. When we made a comment about possibly needing more paper towel, they brought us more than enough toiletries so we were more than set for our entire stay. We would absolutely stay again.

Everything was great but I do have two suggestions for this cabin. We could not find the outside garbage bin. We all looked for it but could not see anything around the property so we used another cabins external trash bin. The other recommendation is that this cabin should have wi-fi. Although the business center was just across the street we could not access that wi-fi from our cabin, and the business center only had one chair. While searching for the wi-fi from within the cabin we noticed there were many other wi-fi options from nearby cabins. Outside of those recommendations, we had a great time at the cabin but may not book that cabin again without wi-fi access within the cabin. Thanks

We had a wonderful stay at Aline View! It was a perfect fit for my family of 4. We loved how easy it was to get to Yosemite Village from the house. It was clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing experience.

The no wifi was an issue because I had issues with my dogs sitter and my phone was not working but other than that everything was awesome, the place was equipped with everything we needed, it was warm and cozy. My kids were able to play in the snow on the property and sightseeing was within minutes, my adult/teens and I had a great Christmas. We are definitely going back.

Very nice location. Beautiful view. Comfortable beds. However, the carpet in this unit is very, very dirty. It is actually crusty. It likely needs to be replaced or at the very least a deep cleaning. Other than that, we were very pleased.

Our stay at Alpine View was amazing. We enjoyed the details on the website of what was provided in the cabin- towels, soap etc. We appreciated the instructions provided by the owners so it was very clear what was expected of us. There was an unexpected snow storm and someone graciously shoveled our driveway and walk way. One thing that would have been helpful is having some night lights in the hallway or bathroom, especially since we have children and their was a spiral staircase. Additionally, it would be nice if Olive Oil was kept at the cabin for cooking. We bought one and left it there but since guests come for a short visit it just goes to waste as we cant fly back with it. Just something to think about. Access to laundry services was great and might be helpful to note on website ( our son got car sick and threw up mostly in a bag, but we really wanted to wash everything). Thank you so much! Very happy with stay. Easy to check in/out. Very clean. Appreciated all the kitchen supplies. WiFi at business center was appreciated. Our only very minor nits would be: 1. Some Kleenex would be really nice 2. Counter space or a place to put your toiletries in the bathrooms would be handy. Thank you!

When we arrived to the property we were greeted with a note that said the downstairs heater (where the bedrooms are located) is broken. A space heater was provided. This upset us because before we arrived we weren’t notified and we had our daughter with us. We would of appreciated a heads up so we could of packed her warmer pajamas. We also asked at the time of booking if there is any child gate for the stairs and never received a response. The rest of the stay was good. The hot tub was nice and relaxing after a day of hiking. I wish there was clearer instructions on what to do with our trash. We had to dump ours while leaving the park because we could not find the bins that were suppose to be provided.

The cabin was spacious, clean!, quiet and as described! The view was beautiful. There were four of us total; two adults and teens. Everyone had their own space, but the hot tub and kitchen table were great spaces to come together. ( Bring your own coffee though, unless you like instant.)

Pros: The property was clean, and equipped with all of the basics. The beds were comfortable, and Scenic Wonders was accommodating with a pack and play crib for my baby. Cons: One of the screens in the bedroom window was detached and let in so many bugs! We kept it shut for most of our stay. The owner prohibited us from plugging our car in, even though it draws as much current as a standard home appliance.

We stayed at Alpine View for 6 days and had absolutely no complaints. The home was emaculately clean. The pots and pans were brand new. We had everything we needed to cook. The beds were very comfortable and the view from the guest bedroom was spectacular. The neighborhood was very quiet and the porch was great for stargazing at night. We had a minor issue with the hot tub and the staff arrived within 5 minutes of our call. The binder with travel tips and suggestions was also very helpful. Having a second bathroom was also very beneficial when traveling with a teenage girl. We would highly recommend Alpine View!

I rented this duplex for my sons 7th birthday. It was totally awesome. It had everything that you would need. The beds were very comfortable and everything was so clean. I read other reviews about no cell service there but we had no issue at all. The view was great and can’t wait to go back.

The Alpine View property was very clean and tidy, and well equipped for cooking meals.( we brought our well seasoned cast iron pan for cooking, though the unit had non stick pans.) The bedding was very clean and comfortable, (very spotty to zero internet service in the unit, so print out directions ahead of time. Service is available just across the street, near the dumpsters /business center.) We had to stroll around to get emails, check drive times, download Kindle ebooks. The location was about a 25 minute drive to the valley floor. (Your well past the park entrance ,so no lines to enter or exit the park each day!) The hot tub was fantastic, and we used it each of the four days of our stay. Tips: Current road construction on hwy 41 meant a 30 minute delay getting back to the condo each day. ( they close one lane and are using excavators on some trenches.) no biggie though, shut off your motor, get out of the car and stretch, the time passed quickly, hit the restrooms before leaving the park. -bring some books and board games, (the tv is small but has good reception, and decent channels ( cartoons for the kiddos,) -bring plenty of food and drinks as the food at the Yosemite Valley stores is expensive and food selection is a bit limited.. ( we found ourselves buying several large water bottles each day, but no biggie.) -we rented bicycles at the Yosemite lodge rental spot, best decision ever as we covered a lot of ground on day one. -we brought razor style scooters ,one electric and three conventional push type, helped us zip around and cover more ground as the valley floor is huge...) They had a few electric scooters for rent at the Yosemite lodge rental, but these sell out instantly. Lots of back and forth on Reddit, are electric scooters legal in the park? Should we use them or walk? Up to you, we brought ours, it saved us lots of walking and was super fun, but hey , maybe you want to walk or have little ones the can’t ride? Just know it’s not against park rules as they rent them at the park. The prices at Degnan’s deli were pretty reasonable $6.00 for a good size breakfast sandwich. The concession prices in Curry village weren’t too bad either (compared to Bay Area food prices that is! Sticker shock for others?) Beer prices and selection in the stores were ok, some unique ipa’s and other local brews to be found. Nice treat during our lunch breaks.) -bring your own bikes if you can. Full day rental x 4 bikes was $160. (Though the kids at the rental only charged us half day when we returned the bikes early ????!) -get to the park early to find parking. Bus and shuttle service aren’t running at this time. - bring binoculars to see the climbers on El Cap. Have a great trip!

We came to visit Yosemite for 2 days and 3 nights. We stayed in Alpine View and had a wonderful time. The home was clean and tidy. It had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. The outdoor grill was nice and we used it to grill some burgers. The beds were comfy and we slept well. I would suggest this location to others for a wonderful vacation spot.

The house was everything I hoped. Close to Yosemite Valley, well equipped, comfy beds, etc. The spa was a huge bonus after long hikes. The only complaint is the fire detector over the stove goes off every time using the stove because it’s too close to the stove.

Very peaceful and comfortable, it was meticulously clean and organized. The only confusing point was where to dump the garbage, maybe a picture of what bin would have been helpful? Instructions in the townhouse mentioned a key, but none was found, and after 10 min or so finally located the bin. Didn't detract from our time in any way though.

I and my family really loved the place. Everything is ready and we just used them. Only one thing... we arrived late time, so it was almost sunset when we start BBQ. It would be better if there is a light outside BBQ place.

Great place for small groups! Not as close to Yosemite Valley as I would like but property was available when rooms in the Valley were not. Small spiral staircase was tough for my elderly mother, so she opted to use the convertible sofa. Great location for those who wish to ski Badger Pass! Kitchen saved us money on meals. Will definitely consider Scenic Wonders in the future!

It was really wonderful. A storm came through the valley and threatened my wedding ceremony but I beat the rain and came to the cabin only to experience a beautiful snowfall while sitting in the hot tub with my new husband. The cabin was gorgeous. The neighborhood was perfect and right next to the valley. Loved it.

This was our first visit to Yosemite, and thus first stay with Scenic Wonders on Yosemite West. We were very pleased. The unit was as depicted on the website. The towels, linens were of better quality than we anticipated which was a great relief. We appreciated the binder and all the brochures with information and instructions Kitchen was adequately stocked with the necessary items. We didn't try the hot tub or outside grill, so no opinion on those.

The check in process was great, the instructions were great and very informative, it was nice to have something to refer to (especially about the internet access!) before we got there. The house was great, perfect for a small family, and we loved the hot tub! Great instructions once we got into the house (and we knew how to clean when we were getting ready to leave). All in all, great place and a wonderful place to stay and go on hikes. We would love to come back!
