Alder Lodge is centrally located inside Yosemite Park, in an area called Yosemite West. 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, with outdoor Jacuzzi Hot Tub! Located at the end of a cul-de-sac, this property is newly remodeled and furnished!
Our spacious newly remodeled, newly furnished, 1800 square foot 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath cabin is designed to comfortably fit parties up to 8 guests. With a king bed in the first and second bedrooms, and a trundle bunk bed in the third bedroom ( full over full-size mattresses, and twin trundle ). There is a separate living room and TV/DVD player. All rooms feature private bathrooms, stylish decor, and forest views.
There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and a bar with stools. A deck scenic deck, with a picnic table, Jacuzzi hot tub and gas grill. This cabin also has laundry facilities.

The house was beautiful with plenty of space for our group of 8 to be comfortable. The location is perfect for ease of access to the various destinations within Yosemite Valley. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pots, pans and dishware.
The beds were comfortable. Having private bathrooms in each room was a plus. We will definitely stay at this property again!

Alder Lodge is a beautiful, roomy house that was perfect for us five adults! Very clean and each bedroom has its own bathroom. We loved the location at the end of the street and enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the mornings and evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would stay there again.

The Alder Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. The upgraded kitchen and living area were perfect. The mattress was very comfortable in the master bedroom. And the location, perfect for a visit to Yosemite valley or Badger Pass. However, I absolutely can not give this review a 5 because the couches in the living room. They were horrible! So uncomfortable I couldnt sit on them because I felt like I was sinking at an angle towards the floor. They are SHOT. Please replace them. The living room is the heart of the house where you sit with your family by the fireplace to play games, watch a movie, and enjoy a cup of coco.

The house was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, appliances which made it easy to prepare meals during our stay. We had a little bit of trouble finding the house on the first night but found it after a few minutes.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was lovely and well equipped and in a fabulous location. We loved the hot tub and the rooms were comfortable.
My only feedback would be that for a property of this standard (and price) wifi should be included. We travelled from overseas and as such didn’t have any connectivity without wifi. Other family members rented a cabin nearby and basic wifi was included and much appreciated.

This was an absolutely wonderful rental property all the way around. The host was fabulous with communication and you couldn’t have asked for a more appointed cabin. It was wonderful to be able to disconnect from the world (no wifi) and just enjoy our family and the beautiful nature around us. I would definitely rent this one again.

We had a great time at the Alder Lodge. It was a great location to lots of great hiking and to Glacier Point. It is about 30 minutes to the Valley Floor but this is nothing compared to if you stay outside the park. Staying inside the park is a MUST!
This lodge had comfy beds and was very well equipped!

This place was great. My family of 5 recently stayed and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The location in the park is fantastic and the area surrounding the house is serene. My husband and I drank coffee on the patio every morning and watched the wildlife (including a visit by a bear). The house was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well appointed. The washer and dryer were key as we packed light. As the description states, there is no wifi and our cell signal was iffy at best - this was a bummer for our teenager, but my husband and I thought this was a fantastic way to completely disengage from work emails. We would definitely stay again.

This cabin had everything and more; even a potato peeler! Full kitchen pots, pans, cutlery... we loved grilling steaks, and cooking food, enjoyed spending our days in the Yosemite Valley then driving only 20 min back to the cabin for board games, hot tub and movies! This place had it all.

The house was great. VERY clean (aside from the reported mouse issues). I wished there were more games and puzzles. My other wish was for heavier (warmer) blankets. My kids woke up because they were cold and I already had the extra blanket on them. Overall a GREAT house. Superb location and amenities.

Alder Lodge is fantastic - everything we could have wanted. Location was excellent ... so quiet that we could completely switch off from the world when we weren’t out exploring the park. Quality and cleanliness were top notch and we tried to leave it in as good a state as when we arrived. WiFi at the office was not working when we dropped by to try it.

The house is beautiful and well equipped, we had all we needed and it was tidy and clean.
We only had one problem: the house can host 9 persons, but the double bunk bed is rather suitable for children than for adults as they are a bit narrow and short. We were four adults travelling with teenagers that are 1,85 to 1,95 metres tall and they just did not fit in the bunkbed.
So maybe it would be good to mention that on the website. Or change the bed.....

We all enjoyed our staying at this property. The house has the perfect location and was convenient to valley and other view points. The house is fully equipped with everything we need. For sure we will come back. The small issue was there were only seven bowls which was not enough for 8 of us.

Alder Lodge is in a great location and so close to Yosemite Valley. It is so spacious but still cosy at the same time, it was spotless and has everything you could possible need. It is clearly well maintained and all appliances were in working order. The beds and furniture were very comfy, we all slept like a dream. The hot tub was perfect to come back to at the end of each day, and start each day as well :-) Isaac was a great host and very quick to respond. I can’t say enough good things about this place, I highly recommend and will definitely come back again.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The weather was beautiful with blue skies during the day and bright stars in the sky like diamonds. We enjoyed the space and all the amenities inside. We did not have wifi, which was not a problem. We played board games, caught up on some movies and did some reading. There are no restaurants in the area, we prepared all our meals at the house, which were delicious. I think the elevation makes the food taste even better. The welcome binder inside the cabin had a lot of good information. When we needed some help or had a question the onsite management helped us right away, just use the touchtone phone inside the cabin. Our family enjoyed the quality time we had and visiting an incredible place on earth. Thank you!
