Remodeled in 2019, the Yosemite Cabin is the only cabin with this unique elevated look and feel in Yosemite National Park. The grand room boasts 20'+ lofted ceilings, white oak floors, a cozy reading nook and a large Restoration Hardware sectional couch for relaxing. The kitchen table graciously holds 10+ individuals for dinner parties and social gatherings.
The views from The Yosemite Cabin are some of the best in Yosemite West. A wrap-around deck provides a great location to take in the surroundings, enjoy early-morning coffees and meals with friends and family. The inside of the home is open-plan and expansive.
The kitchen was updated in 2019 and is fully stocked with all kitchen essentials including high-end All Clad pots and pans, Crate & Barrel table wear, SMEG countertop appliances, a gas-burning range and stove, apron-front kitchen sink and high-end linens. The countertops are a beautiful white quartz and the cabinets are painted with Farrow & Ball's Studio Green (dark green).
All bedrooms and bathrooms are located downstairs; because of this the Yosemite Cabin is not wheel-chair friendly.
There are no other lodgings quite like this in Yosemite; the interiors are thoughtful, elevated, beautiful, well-curated with a mix of modern and vintage decor. Decor ranges from 100+ year old Persian rugs, to plein-air oil paintings by California artists, to a 200-year-old Moroccan wedding table, to new furnishings and fixtures from Rejuvination, Article and Restoration Hardware. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.
Notes about staying in an older home in Yosemite: Biggest thing to note is, while the house is recently remodeled and styled beautifully, you're still in the remote mountains! It can take a while to warm up in winter (even though we have new heating units), the units can be tricky to operate the first time and there's the occasional critter (bugs, spiders, mice) that make their way into the house, despite our best efforts to keep them out.
