This two-bedroom mountain home lies at the heart of Yosemite National Park in the Yosemite West Community. Juniper Retreat is a responsible alternative for the environmental-conscious visitor. Located inside the park, and 20 minutes from Yosemite Valley this house provides a unique opportunity to enjoy the comforts of home, in the heart of Yosemite National Park.
With this modern fully stocked kitchen you'll find everything needed to prepare your own meals. The covered deck provides a perfect venue for sunrise coffee, a relaxing sunset, or an evening under the stars. This house has a strong 3G phone signal, which you will find is a rare amenity in this area, however, please keep in mind Verizon is the only carrier that may work in Yosemite West. This unit has satellite WiFi (the wifi speed is unreliable for video streaming and video calling).
This house can sleep up to 4 people; there is a queen-size bed in the master bedroom, a queen-size bed in the second bedroom, and two full bathrooms.
None of our rentals allow pets, no pets allowed.

Home was appointed with everything that was needed. It was clean and comfortable.
Air conditioning would have been a nice upgrade.
The footsteps of the renters could be heard.
But, otherwise, a pleasant stay with nice views.

An excellent property, with fine decor, nice layout, good movie selection, and great location. The only drawback was the steep driveway and challenging parking, but thats to be expected. The owners tastes were well-matched to mine and my familys. In particular we found the room sizing and layout to be perfect for socialization and sleeping arrangements.

We enjoyed our stay, comfortable for four people, very quiet location convenient to Yosemite.
We did not realize that there was another unit above ours and it was very audible when someone walked above us.
Bedside lamps were missed.

Juniper retreat is a great lodge for the 4 headed family we were.
Perfectly clean and well equipped (with a nice dvd library for evening film sessions after great hikes !) and top prepared, we spent 5 extraordinary days there. Top level propane bbc . An outdoor table with at least 4 chairs could be added on the terrasse to allow sunset aperitif and sunrise breakfast .

Juniper Retreat was exactly as advertised. It was a great to come home to after a long day of hiking each evening. The bedding was a little warm for the season, but we ended up taking the flannel blanket off and put the fan on, and problem solved.

The location was really nice and the house was clean. We did have issues with one of the showers draining and running out of propane on the grill but someone was sent over quickly to address them. Overall positive experience!

The house was very clean and had all the amenities needed. All the things and switches were labeled well and it was enough for our group with kids. Also there were good collection of books and dvds. There were lot of utensils. The dishwasher could have been bigger but not a huge deal. Overall our stay was pleasant and satisfactory. We would definitely return to juniper resort as Yosemite is our favorite place to visit.

Juniper Retreat was neat and exactly at described in the website. I especially liked having the grill out on the porch to cook. It was all set-up and ready to use. I was thankful for the fans since we were there during the hottest days ever in Yosemite park. Our door code did not work when we arrived but we were able to contact someone and they came within 5 min. to let us in. Parking and access to the unit was easy.

Incredible to be able to experience the park with less visitors. Introduced my 30 year daughter and son-in-law to the park which I have been wanting to do for years!! Accommodations although pricey were very comfortable. Thank you!!

We LOVED the accommodations. Our house was clean, organized and well stocked. I as actually very impressed with the quality and selection of kitchen products, as I usually travel with my own becuse I am a Pampered Chef Senior Director and am very particular about my kitchen pans and knives. The wifi was a nice convienence to have, and I loved the full laundry available . After a long day of hiking in the park it was nice to come back to a nice home with A/C and a hot shower waiting without a long drive in and out of the park. We would definetly stay here again and recommend it to others.

Property was fabulous and convenient to YNP.
Two recommendations: refrigerator was turned off which we didn’t notice until 12 hours had passed. And, a variety of frying pans not warped would be great.

Juniper Retreat was the perfect place for our family. Really well located, close to the valley and the ski resort. The appartment was very spacious and the beds comfortable. The kitchen was practical with all the utensils we needed. We appreciated all the movies available.
Some oil and vinegar in the pantry would be nice.
When we were there, the landline was not working which was a bit of an issue because we were stuck in the snow and had no way of knowing about road closures.
Also the unit gets very noisy when you have some people living in the upstairs appartment.

Our unit, Juniper Retreat, was amazing. Very clean, well kitchen equipped, great location if you plan to ski. All kinds of amenities in the kitchen, we were even able to grill. We loved it and highly recommend it. We will definitely stay there again when we visit the area.

The apartment was perfect for a quiet relaxing retreat. All amenities were there and well equipped. We had a really enjoyable stay and would come back again one day. The only small drawback we faced were guests who came in at 1.30am on one of the nights in the unit above us and woke up everyone.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Juniper Treat. The place is very clean, has all the supplies we needed, and it is located inside the park. We also like the fact it has two bathrooms and has new washer and dryer within the unit.

We had a wonderful time with Scenic Wonders. The home was clean, spacious, and the perfect place to return to after a day of hiking. Scenic Wonders staff was great to us while we were there, coming to restart the modem (that we didn’t have access to) because the internet wasn’t working when we arrived. We really appreciated it and loved our stay.
