Scenic Wonders’ Guests Enjoying Picturesque Yosemite
Dear Friends
I greet you from Yosemite

Scenic Wonders’ guests were enjoying picturesque Yosemite on this perfect morning at Tunnel View. They were pleased with the pictures they had just taken. They were pleased that they still had two more nights at the Chinquapin Cabin!

The passing storm provided a backdrop of beautiful clouds upon El Capitan, The Three Graces, and Half Dome. Bridalveil Fall was touched by some clouds, as well. The wind was calm and the morning air was beginning to warm the air.

The pretty red flowers put pretty smiles of our guests. I introduced them to Cercis occidentalis, or more commonly known as redbud. Redbud is one of the most colorful flowering displays this time of year!

Early spring is is the time of year when the Western Redbud comes into bloom. Its small boat-shaped, magenta colored blossoms produce great mounds of brilliance on the tree-sized shrubs growing at Tunnel View.

The color of the redbud matches our guest’s iPhone case and the tassels of her hat!

She asked me to take some pictures of her with her iPhone….making sure that there were mounds of redbud in the background!

Scenic Wonders’ guests were enjoying picturesque Yosemite on this early spring morning when the brilliantly colored redbud were in bloom.
