Yosemite Aviary & Yosemite Quail is a nice 5-bedroom duplex consisting of 2 units. We will only rent this house out to one group at a time for up to 14 guests. This home has air conditioning and central heating. This home has great views of the Yosemite National Park and is located inside the park. There are decks on every level for you to enjoy nice views of the park. Raise a toast to the park from your deck with a glass of wine and wake up with your morning joe to a view of the park from the privacy of your bedroom on the upper level. The home is located inside the Yosemite National Park for your family to enjoy the park.
This home has easy access to an entrance at street level and parking at the front door.
*In Yosemite Aviary there are two bedrooms at street level and the third bedroom is on the upper level. Both floors open to decks with views. The upper level has a bedroom, living room and a bathroom. The upper level can provide complete privacy with a door to lock off from the entrance level. Three rooms, first bedroom with a king size bed, second bedroom with a queen & twin size bed, the third bedroom has a day bed. The loft has a day bed as well. The entrance level has two bedrooms, a kitchen, and living room.
*Yosemite Quail is a cozy 2 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms home. Each room hosts a queen size memory foam bed. There is a queen size sofa bed in the living room (not recommended for adults). Enjoy a BBQ and marvel at the breathtaking views from the large deck. The kitchen is complete with all you need to prepare a family meal. There is a 46" LED TV with dish satellite TV and satellite based WiFi for emails and browsing only. This unit is the lower part of Yosemite Aviary.
Charging for your electric car is available with a 220v Nema 1450 plug at the parking pad. Satellite WiFi is free (the wifi speed in unreliable for video streaming and video calling). This cabin has 4 parking spots all year long. Stay at our home for a memorable Yosemite vacation.

I really enjoyed my stay. The only thing was that I didn’t sleep that well, the covers felt a little thin and I always seemed to be running out. Also the sunlight comes in early, so some thicker curtains would have helped me sleep better. Otherwise it was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed!

This property is run down and does not have the needed items in the kitchen or otherwise. The carpet is old and worn, as well as needing to be cleaned. We had 4 people at the property, and the feedback was that it reminded them of an old hotel. With the cost to stay at this property, it is unacceptable. We have stayed at Yosmite West on many occasions, at a number of different of different houses, and we will never book this one again. The owner should be keeping the property updated and it should look clean and appropriate.

Trip to Yosemite the week of July 4th for our party of 12. The aviary worked great for our 3 families. The house is dated but the location inside the park was perfect. With temperatures in the 90s and no air conditioning it was pretty hot inside. I would suggest some updated fans for the hot summer months.

Yosemite Aviary was great for our big group - we really enjoyed our stay and the location is hard to beat! A few small things that could be improved: -Cabin is generally outdated and is in some need of TLC (carpet stains, etc.), and the kitchen ware/supplies is a bit limited (ran out of mugs and silverware for our big group, couldn’t find basic cleaning supplies, etc). -No A/C, which I know is common in Yosemite - but daytime can get toasty! Night it cooled down well. -Wifi was very slow and is definitely only for basic activity

We enjoyed our stay. The house worked well for our needs. The kids took over the upper level and loved the pool table. We even saw a bear at the back of the property on our last day, which was a highlight.

Carpets needs to be replaced and interior upgraded and major renovations needed in general. Did not get friendly vibes from the owner or whoever we were messaging with. Wifi didnt work at all. Otherwise bathroom and kitchen was clean and well stocked. Everything else needs deep cleaning.. They could clean and dust the outside furniture. Fix the broken slats on the balcony, clean the sofa. Pictures on listing is very deceiving.

This cabin was perfect for our extended family. We had three families, with a total of 6 adults and 6 kids and we all had our own spaces. The cabin was very clean when we arrived. We had all the cooking and eating utensils we needed as the kitchen was fully stocked. The only thing missing for us was a kuerig coffee maker. So if you prefer k-cups to regular drip coffee, you may want to bring your own. There were plenty of towels and bedding was perfect! Yosemite west is a great alternative to the crowded valley floor accommodations. The checkin and check out processes were seem less! We will definitely be back!

BIG thank you to the Owner of the Cabin and awesome management team. Cabin was really clean, cozy and well maintained. We have decided to rent this property in our upcoming trip to Yosemite. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family. Scenic Wonder management team are great and very professional. On one phone call they will fulfill your request (for eg. We forgot butter for cooking, we called them and they deliver right away and called at 10pm for wine opener and they delivered.). Overall one of the best experience we had and our kids and guest enjoyed stay at Yosemite. Thank you to the owner and management company.

This is our third times using scenic wonders and it was perfect as always. Despite the power outage and 12" of snow the staff came to our unit to light the fireplace within 10 minutes! Great facilities and friendly staff, we will be coming back again. Side note: I was able to charge my Tesla model 3 at 30 miles/hour using the charging port at Yosemite aviary and ended up with more than enough charge (310 mile range) to make it back to San Jose without stopping to charge.

What a beautiful development. The location was so convenient and the view was fabulous. Communication and service was prompt and staff was so courteous. The extras in the cabin made our stay so easy. Everything we needed was provided. The cabin and amenities were a bit dated, but in light of the overall experience was not a big issue.

There were nine of my family members that stayed over the weekend. We were there to scatter the ashes of my husband, ( father and grandfather) so it was a very nice place for us to gather. It was also his birthday, so we shared that celebration. We all certainly felt we would consider renting this place again. (However, I would have preferred to have hot water for my shower.....it was only slightly lukewarm.) Yosemite has always been a favorite place for our family and since we all bought annual passes, I am sure we will return again soon.
