Description

Perched high in the Pines of Yosemite, enjoyment, and relaxation awaits you in this duplex rustic mountain home. Skyline Retreat has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There are 4 queen bed and a sofa sleeper. There is a 55" LED TV with blue ray and HD satellite TV. A deck with a gas grill. A wood burning stove, with a rustic cabin, feel.
This three bedroom, two bath duplex home sleeps 10 comfortably. This property offers a great economical way for family and friends to experience Yosemite. With newly updated bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and a dining area that seats six, perfect for small family gatherings. This home also features a wood-burning stove in the living room, firewood supplied. In the upstairs media room, you'll find a 55" LED TV with Blue-ray disk player and HD satellite, card/chess/checkers table, for hours of fun with the kids. The first floor has 2 bedrooms, each with one queen bed. The upstairs bedroom has two queen beds and the media room that has a twin day bed with trundle and a queen sofa bed, perfect for the kids. We do not recommend sofa beds for adults, they are only acceptable for small children, they are uncomfortable for adults, so we will not guarantee a good night's rest on them. Built for the young at heart, after climbing approximately fifty stairs, you will arrive at the front door of your Skyline Retreat, well worth the climb!

The location is perfect. The house itself is very basic and feels quite old and unmodernised, it needs maintenance and some care and attention to detail. It need some new paint, new carpets, better lighting, better furniture etc.

The rental was easy to find and was nice being inside the park. It was able to accommodate the family I had staying with me and was comfortable.

We had an amazing time at Skyline Retreat. Cabin was beautiful, clean, and in a perfect location! Management called when we arrived to make sure everything was all good and let us know to contact them if we needed anything at all. We would definitely seek out a Scenic Wonders property in the future:)

The property was very dated but not priced accordingly (it was priced similarly as some that looked much newer/nicer). The stairs were difficult for some in our family (younger kids and older grandparent). We wouldn’t stay there again.

We enjoyed the shelter and the amenities of the house, coming in after a day out in the valley or up in the highlands. It was wonderful to take a shower, open the fridge, eat, get coffee in the mornings, so much nicer than camping or the lodge. Loved it.

We enjoyed staying there. I didn't realize there were so many stairs to the house-looking back I see it was on the website, but it would have been nice to have had that called out specifically before booking.

Beautiful house and really good location to be able to visit Yosemite. Overall the stay was amazing! The only thing that would have been nice is if there had been wifi or cellular signal.

The place came with all the amenities advertised in the Airbnb profile. I liked how cozy and comfortable it was, and how it is convenient to Yosemite valley. Only thing is that the profile did not say that this unit would be on the third floor of the building, which would be helpful to know if my grandmother came because she has troubles climbing up the stairs.
