Red Fox Retreat is a cozy 1 bedroom + Loft, 2 bath three level A-frame Mountain Chalet. Starting from the top floor you have your loft master suite loft with a full bathroom, a king-size bed that opens out to the cathedral ceiling, and large picture windows with views of Yosemite Pine trees, a great place to wake up refreshed to start your day. On the main floor, you have a fully equipped kitchen that opens out to your dining/living room area with a flat screen TV, DVD player, and a deck with BBQ and chairs. This home does not have Satellite TV so bring your favorite DVDs! Satellite WiFi is free (the wifi speed is unreliable for video streaming and video calling). On the basement floor, you have another bedroom with a queen size bed with wood floors and cedar walls, and a full bath that is shared. This home is also equipped with laundry facilities.

We had a wonderful stay at the Red Fox Retreat. Great amenities and location. Cabin was clean and was very happy to have AC in the July heat. There was a scheduled power outage and was so relieved that there was a generator since we had bought groceries to prepare meals at the cabin. Great experience.

Red Fox was a lovely property and was as advertised in the listing. It was a little further out of the park than expected, but not a problem getting in and around the park each day. Lovely sunny deck and setting with BBQ, including seeing the deer around the property. Should advertise as a two bed property, there were 3 of us and the bedroom set up worked fine and we may have missed the listing had we not been curious about the den reference.

Property was very clean. It was convenient staying inside the park as well. It would’ve been nice to have a few more fans as the temperatures on a few days were in the mid 90s. Bunkbeds or two twins in the lower level bedroom would have also been nice.

Red Fox Retreat was perfect for our family trip to Yosemite!! The location was unbeatable and it was so quiet and serene. While we were staying they also upgraded the house to have WiFi! Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Yosemite!

The welcome call was a nice touch. The house was as pictured, sparkling clean, and despite being prepared to deal with the summer heat because the description said no AC, we were pleasantly surprised with the fans and portable AC unit which made the stay even more comfortable!
Overall it was a wonderful stay but for the price I wished the house provided some basic necessities (mainly shampoo and some cooking oil).

I would give this property 5 stars but the lack of wifi and/or satellite tv really affects the overall experience- especially since SO MANY of the other properties clearly have wifi and tv. For the cost of the nightly stay, I feel it only appropriate to add this amenity for future guests. Thank you.

The property was awesome. Spacious, clean, and quiet. Had all the conveniences except wi-fi which was actually very nice. Had some trouble getting the washing machine going but Scenic Wonders staff came and fixed it within minutes of calling them.

Instructions for access to property clear and keypad entry convenient. Accommodation was clean, well equipped and great location for getting around the park. We reported a problem with washing machine and someone called straight away to sort (great customer service - well done). Only criticism (but assume not Scenic Wonders fault) was numerous and large sized pot holes in road. Workmen were out but don't thing repair efforts will last long. Overall a fantastic stay at the lodge that we all enjoyed. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

The property has many super features and the location is great. In March the ground floor tended to be cold unless you really boosted the heating for "bed-time". No Wi-fi or TV signal is a disappointment considering the price.

We drove in late leaving Oakhurst about 6:30 PM. It had just snow stormed a few days earlier so the roads were covered with snow a few miles before Fish Camp on up. With that said the drive was slow but enjoyable and upon reaching the cabin everyone was at awww and overjoyed in how beautiful the cabin was. it was definitely more beautiful than what we expected that we have forgotten the we were tired from our long drive from the bay area. Over all our ski/snowboard trip was a great hit and we have Scenic Wonders to thank in helping make this mini vacation a joy. I believe we found our favorite cabin and we cant wait for our spring ski/snowboard vacation 2.0 .

It's great to stay at the Red Fox Retreat. And it would be better to have more signs to locate the house, as we took 5-10mins to finally get to the house on the 1st day.
Having No Wifi provided a perfect environment for friends' gathering, however, a friend needed to connect with his colleagues and found it hard to locate the business center.
My friends and I enjoyed a lot ar the Red Fox Retreat and would definitely stay with Scenic Wonder in our future Yosemite Trip.

The Lodge was ferry good and spacious.
The decoration might not fit all but the surroundings are exceptional.
Please mention to other guests that the lodge is at 20 minutes drive from the "heart" of the Yosemite, we were thinking it was much closer.
