Cozy and charming, this two-level mountain cottage sleeps up 6 guests.
On the first floor, there is a small living room (no fireplace), kitchen, and dining room that seats 4. A deck that opens up from the dining area, with a gas grill and picnic table. There is also a den with a queen bed, and a 3/4 bathroom on the first floor. Upstairs on the second level, you have two bedrooms with a queen bed in each and one shower bath. There is a small reading area with a futon. TV/DVD (no Satellite), satellite WiFi (the wifi speed is unreliable for video streaming and video calling), and laundry facilities. There are 2 parking spots.

We’ve stayed at a few different places in Yosemite West over the past few years, this was our favorite! Perfect amount of space, comfortable beds, easy parking and access, and the convenience of a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. The only thing we weren’t crazy about were the showers. A different shower head, even a cheap one, would be a big improvement. Thanks for a great home base for our annual Yosemite trip!

We had a great time in the house. We appreciated the proximity to the valley. In the house, everything was clean and tidy, perfect for two nights. I must point out just two things: the smoke detector started ringing for no reason, I think it was poorly attached to the ceiling, it was hanging down. For cooking, it would be nice to have just a little oil available.

We loved our stay. All pots and pans/ flatware available. There is no Tupperware so if you have left overs or want to pack lunch bring your own ziplocks or Tupperware. Additionally no shampoo and conditioner provided, so we just grabbed some from the valley shops. Overall great experience, we even got visited by a bear right out back. Would stay again anytime we visit the area.

We really loved our time at Pine Tree Retreat!! It was the perfect location to explore the park. The upstairs had plenty of room for our 3 kids, and the little kitchen had everything we needed! The house was cute and cozy, and we were fine without AC in June. We would definitely stay here again!!

We had an enjoyable stay with plenty of room for 6 people. Most things provided for that we needed during our stay. We only needed food and shampoo/shower gel. Getting around is easy and the views are spectacular.

We enjoyed our stay although the description of the property was accurate, the accomodations were modest. The showers were incredibly small with both shower head being subpar. It is a nice, quiet and convenient location however, pricey for such a moderate property.

Pine Retreat was everything and more for my little family and our vacation to Yosemite. Literally, less than 20 min to Tunnel View. Far enough from the tourist crowd, but close enough to enjoy Yosemite. The house had all the amenities, from washer and dryer to BBQ grill. Lots of pots, pans, dishes, and utensils to cook a full family meal. House was CLEAN, from ceiling to base boards. Thank you Maria and Caesar!! I would definitely recommend this place!! Don’t expect fast Wi-fi or tv channels, bring dvds or board games if you want entertainment . I plan on coming back in the near further.

It was extremely warm during our stay, but there was no AC in our cabin. We couldn’t sleep for the first two nights. Hopefully there will be AC unit for our next visit. Other than that, it was nice experience.

Lovely lodge, good size for our family of four. Great to have the two bathrooms and 3 beds. Kitchen ok but like most of the property it was a bit dated. We understand being where it is that internet and tv are not going to be great, although a bonus we had some channels and internet service. All in all an excellent choice, lovely surroundings and great drive into Yosemite.

The accomadations were perfect for our family of 5. The showers were surprisingly small. The dishwasher had issue which I called you about. Overall it was clean and comfortable and I would recommend to others.
