Eagles Nest is nestled among the Yosemite pines, this duplex home features two bedrooms, one bathroom, and is ideally suited for a couple, two couples, or a family of 4.
The master bedroom has a King bed and a 42" TV. The second bedroom has a queen bed. There is full size bathroom, with a Jacuzzi bath tub, and separate shower. Also a laundry facilities. The living room is open to the kitchen/dining area and has a wood burning stove fireplace with a 47" TV/DVD Satellite. The living room also opens to a nice wraparound deck with a propane gas grill. The kitchen features granite counter tops with stainless steel appliances. This cabin is equipped with Dish Network satellite TV for your viewing enjoyment as well as satellite internet (not fast enough for reliable video calling or streaming). During our winter season there is parking for only 1 vehicle, over summer there are 2 parking spots.

This place is located in a peaceful, majestic environment and the home is so spacious and clean. The community is nice and quiet and the host at Scenic Wonders (Sam) was extremely responsive, friendly and knowledgeable. I will be going again every year moving forward.

The house is super clean. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck to feel the breeze and to hear the birds chirp. We also saw a bear wondering around our backyard and it was really an unique experience.

The cabin was very comfortable for our group! Everything we needed was there and it was wonderful to come back to after long hiking days in the park. Close to Yosemite Valley and Mariposa Grove. Very clean and welcoming!

We enjoyed our stay at Eagles Nest! Isaac was very responsive to any problems we had, and we appreciated the heads up on power outage. We would however have appreciated additional seating on the porch and dining table, family of 4 with 3 chairs :(. The area is so convenient to Yosemite and the homes nearby looked new. Air conditioning would have been a plus, but we managed. We will recommend this house and Yosemite West to our friends. Thanks! Lori

The house was lovely! When I booked it I knew it would be close to the tunnel and the Yosemite Vally floor. For some reason I thought there might be grocery stores a little more handy. If we would have know we would have stopped in Oakhurst!

1. Even though outside temperature at night during summer is cool, the room doesn’t have ventilation making it so hot. We can barely go to sleep due to the high temperature inside. It would be much better if there is a window fan for each room.
2. The Eagle Nest is actually equips with WIFI and yet the reservation confirmation says there is no WIFI. Have to call front desk to get the password.
3. There is no jacuzzi as advertised.

This is my 2nd time renting a cabin from Scenic Wonders. This was a smaller cabin than the 1st as there were only 3 of us, but it was just the right size - we made do with the one bathroom - It had everything we needed to cook meals and lots of towels and even a washer and dryer. We didn't use it but it was nice knowing it was there. - My only "complaint", if it is, would be to have an instruction sheet for the remote controls - there were at least 4 remotes - I didn't even know how to turn on or off the tv - my son had to to it everytime - :D

The location of Eagles Nest is just 20min drive to Yosemite Valley and Glacier Point and convenience for sight seeing and trail waking. Room space is enough and very clean. We had a comfortable stay and want to visit again.

We had a great time at Eagles Nest. It's a beautiful cottage with a very comfortable and homely interior decoration. Furthermore, it is spacious, clean and has all the things that you might need in a home. We loved the barbeque and used it every night of our stay! Another big plus is of course that it only takes 40 minutes to drive to the heart of the Yosemite Valley which makes the commute not only bearable but even pleasurable.
We will definitely stay again in Eagles Nest or perhaps another property of Scenic Wonders in the future.
