Restore
Hetch Hetchy - Tax Deductable
Hetch Hetchy Valley was
created thousands of years ago when glaciers descending California's
Sierra Nevada left behind a spectacular setting of mountain meadows
surrounded by towering granite cliffs and thundering waterfalls.
In 1890, Hetch Hetchy was protected for all Americans as part of
Yosemite National Park. Thirty three years later, however, the valley
was flooded for use as a reservoir for San Francisco and other Northern
California cities. Join the growing list of people and organizations
that support the restoration of Hetch Hetchy Valley.

Yosemite
Online
The Yosemite Association is a not-for-profit educational organization
dedicated to the support of Yosemite National Park through a program
that includes membership, book publishing and sales, outdoor seminars,
and visitor services. Established in 1923, the association was the
first such "cooperating association" in the U.S. Our revenues
are used to support education, museum, research, and environmental
programs in Yosemite through donations to the National Park Service.
Yosemite
Valley Railroad
FROM THE TURN OF THE CENTURY UNTIL 1945, it was possible to take
a wonderful train ride from Merced in the San Joaquin Valley to
El Portal, California to visit Yosemite National Park. Rather than
endure dusty roads and undependable automobiles, vacationers could
relax in Pullman accommodations or on the deck of a beautiful observation
car and enjoy the scenery along the way.

offering Professionally Guided Hiking Tours and Photography Workshops
