The kids will love the excitement of an easy, safe nocturnal exploration on a ranger-led “Night Prowl,” which focuses on the park’s nighttime critters. Night Prowls usually start at 8:30 p.m. and last around an hour and a half, but check the Yosemite Guide for the current schedule. Whether it’s looping around on an ice rink, learning about bats under the stars, or standing next to the biggest organisms on the planet, children won’t be bored in Yosemite, that’s for sure.
